I am a disabled person who both uses a wheelchair and is prone to fainting, leaning down is legitimately dangerous for me.This has caused me to struggle for a long time to gather anything that has fallen on the floor and this allows things to build up and become a problem, especially with my professional mischief makers, aka my cats knocking things down.I have tried using long handled dust pans and brushes but it's hit and miss, grabbing items one by one with a grabber is time consuming and ineffective.I was trying to figure out a solution and considered making something like this and figured someone already must have for litter picking and I found this.The sloped opening means I can put it flat to the floor and use a brush to flick things in and it's been the best solution for me and helped enormously.It's sturdy, the bags don't slip at all, the elastic is a little difficult to pull over but it's worth the effort as I leave the bag in it and it also helps me with carrying the bag room to room as I can hold it between my knees.It's excellent and I would and have suggested it to friends both disabled and otherwise, very helpful useful piece of kit that I wouldn't want to be without now.

During lockdown we've started walking around our local parks a lot more, and started to notice a build up of rubbish. We started picking this just a litter picker, but it can be really difficult carrying the bag around and keeping it open to easily put litter into.This hoop makes all the difference. It holds the bag open, the handle is easy to hold and keeps the bag in a good position for easily depositing rubbish. If you run into a lot you can scoop it over the flat edge instead.It takes a few times to get good at getting the bag secured in place, but not too bad once you get the hang of it. I can't fault the grip - several times I've overloaded the bag to the point the bag (a mid-range Sainsbury's black bin bag, so not overly thin but also not rubble quality) started to stretch from the weight but still stayed firmly in place on the handihoop.Recommended.

My favourite pastime is litter picking. All of my kit is from Helping Hand Environmental. I needed to replace one of the hoops on my trolley. I prefer this style with the handle and believe me I have probably tried every design.

Easy to hold. Good angle for the opening. Attaching and taking off the sack isn't easy.

This looks like a great idea, particularly with the flat edge on one side of the hoop. However, the elasticated strap for attaching the bag to the rim is very difficult to put on. It is rightly very taught (to keep the bag in place) but this makes it very difficult to stretch around the loop. This led to a couple of very painful ‘spring backs’ (like a heavy catapult). This may be due to arthritic fingers, but it was returned as too risky to keep / use.

hi i bought this hoop i few weeks ago and i am every happy with the hoop it holds the bag well and if you use the litter pickers what are like the helping hand ranger litter the heavy duty tongs is good hoop and and i been litter picking for 5 years and use many hoops in my past and i have to say i think i found my best hoop in the i would highly recommend this hoop for litter picking duty's you have to do is light weight i don't have a the belt for it and i can still litter pick it with for like 4 to 5 hours the way the way it works is a peace of cake the bungee cord is a good way to put the bag to the hoop apart from at functionality 10/10 value 10/10 size 10/10 get one you will regret if you don't get it

Much better than the round original one I have this one you can sweep into which makes it very helpful

It's sturdy and easy to use, the only issue I had was the size, It's pretty big! I returned it and swapped it for the ring instead. It has all the same features. it's just a lot smaller and easier to handle. If you need a large litter picker hoop, then I recommend this product!
