Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love these blankets! I have two of them and they are great for the beach and camping. We went Memorial day weekend camping on a mountain, quite chilly, these were a life saver! This past weekend we even used it for the beach! A little warm with the Sherpa lining, but the other side kept the sand at bay. They are easy to wash in the washing machine and easy to wrap up and bring with you, due to the draw sting backpack and elastic snap. I might even get some as gifts.

I took a while comparing blankets of this type (thermal insulated, windproof, waterproof). I'm very happy with this purchase and especially with the value.Water resistant: Overall I'm quite satisfied. The description stated water resistant, and after field testing, I can confirm that it kept out about 90% of water. It was quite a lot of water, so some dampness got through, however, it's a blanket, not a tarp, and it did great for being what it is.Thermal insulated: On cold nights I put this on as a top layer (over a down layer and a wool layer) and the difference between having this blanket on is tremendous. I go from too cold to almost too hot easily. 10/10 for the thermal capacity on how light weight it is.Wind proof: Solid outer layer. Does deliver.

Super soft! I question the degree of water resistance but decent blanket for the money

I was looking for a heavier blanket for cold nights v in my tent while camping. This product seems more suitable for sitting around a camp fire. It's a nice product, just not what I needed.

Very warm blanket for cold windy ballgames

I bought this to cover appliances on the backporch and it works well. This is well made. The sherpa backing is an excellent feature. Good value.
