I have several of these delightful birdhouses in different styles on the tops of my kitchen cabinets and they just brighten the whole room! Arrived in perfect condition! The instructions that come with it mention adding a polyurethane layer to preserve the paint finish if used outside, but I think enjoying it inside is best!

I haven't been able to install due to weather but know I'll love looking at it all summer.

Beautiful birdhouse but definitely not made to be outside. I love the look but definitely overpriced.

The product was cute, but defective. It has a door in the back for cleaning, but the door can't be opened because the hanger bar always covers part of the top of the door. One of the windows on the front is very crooked. Poor construction quality for the price.

The item is well made but if you want to keep the finish protected, the manufacurer's website says to "we recommend using a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use and UV rated" which was an extra step I wasn't expecting. And another purchase.Also, no birds have taken interest in the birdhouse, but I haven't had the time to try relocating it to see if that would help. However, it is posted on the fence right next to the bottom of our deck (where they like to take shelter).
