[GREAT Product! Excellent ABS Luggage Set for Below $150]
[Pros] Durable, very lightweight, distinctive colors for airline travel, sized very well for airline travel* (smallest bag meets carry-on requirements, see below), ergonomic and versatile movement/storage. [Cons] (Minor) Very strong smell when opened! **Not heavy, thick, "rigid" plastic, if that's what you're looking for! It's hard to tell online, but this luggage set isn't that style. Before talking about the benefits of this set, just a warning: Don't open the packaging inside! These things smell like burnt tires when you cut the plastic open -- that said, this is a very minor issue. The smell is purely from the ABS plastic and only on the outside. Leave them on a covered patio for a day, give them a little wipe down with a soapy rag, and you're good. Now on to the good stuff! ~ Durability: These guys are tough! You can tell the quality just by pulling them out of the packaging. I've used them for two business trips so far, and we all know how luggage gets thrown around, and these still look good. -- That said, read what I said above: **These are indeed made of tough ABS plastic, but it is thin, flexible plastic. So the overall shape holds true for being thrown around (far better than cloth), but you can push it with your hand and it'll indent and pop back out. If something fragile is inside, it'd still need to be heavily padded. ~ Sizes: As noted above, the luggage sizes are great for air travel. *The smallest case fits under the Delta standard of 22" x 14" x 9" IF not overstuffed -- Verified with a tape measure it's well within the 22 and 14, but it's right at 9 on the depth so a stuffed bag might not make the squeeze. As for the other cases, the medium one is nice and... medium. And the large is nice and... large. Bluntly, most men should be able to adequately pack about 2 weeks of clothes in the medium, and ladies 2 weeks in the large. I don't know what the large one stuffed-to-the-gills would be like as far as weight requirements go with the airlines, I haven't needed to pack for that long of a trip. ~ Ergonomics: It can be seen easily in the picture, but to verify; There are telescoping handles on each piece. There is also a carry handle on the top and on one side, to be carried vertically or horizontally. When not in use, these can be pushed down flush with the case. There are 4 caster wheels on the bottom that roll in all directions, and they work well. Opposite of the side handle, there are rubber pieces so that the case can se set down horizontally as well. -- For storage, the small fits into the medium and the medium into the large (that's how it's shipped as well). ~ Internal: This aspect doesn't matter to me so much, because it's easy to use grocery bags to separate things. But for some it might: The top section has a flap with a zipper that goes all the way around, so that the top section can be completely separated from the bottom internally. There's also a pouch with a zipper attached to one of the horizontal sides. The internal material is standard thin, silk-like cloth os it's not a waterproof storage container. Pretty standard. ~ Aesthetics: If looks matter to you concerning luggage, this is a very handsome set. I just liked all of the color options, as I'm tired of looking for black luggage on a carousel. I got the orange set -- It's pumpkin orange plastic shell, flat black plastic trim, light gray patterned interior. [Conclusion] I am very pleased. There are probably better 3-Piece sets out there, but at holiday 2014 I got these for $133. That's the price of cheap luggage, but at a much higher quality. I'm not a heavy traveller, but for someone who travels occasionally with business these are great and I expect they'd even work well for a heavy traveller.

It's a Good Value
I paid $135 including taxes for a set of three in the same shade of green as my company logo. I like that I can brand them. They really stand out at the airport baggage claim. They came with locks that are good enough to keep honest people honest. Full disclosure, I forgot the combo and easily broke in with my bare hands. These cases are VERY roomy. The zippered compartment really makes it easy to maximize the use of space. I had no trouble with and of the zippers, which are well stitched, and the fabric is strong. Plus, the cases are light weight, so you really have wiggle room with the weight restrictions for flights. The wheels and telescopic handles all seem well designed, and sturdily built. Moving through airports, on ships, through streets was all easy for me. I could easily manage two suitcases and a backpack (fastened to the handle of one suitcase) by myself with this set because of how the wheels move. Listen. This set will not last forever. It arrived slightly bruised, and isn't the strongest material I've ever seen. It'll probably survive 10-15 trips, depending on how brutal the airport staff are. But at the price? $135 for a set of 3? Chose your favorite color and make the purchase.

Great Luggage, Great Price
I own this luggage in three different colors. Perfect for travel especially cruising. 28" is my favorite size, room for everything. 360 wheels are great. EDIT-unfortunately I was only able to use this luggage piece ONCE. One of the wheels on the bottom crushed in causing an irreparable crack in the bottom of the luggage and wheel mount. The window to return is closed and I have lost the use of a new piece of LUGGAGE. Purchased in July and used once in August. Did not expect the quality of this luggage to fail me. As I said prior I have relied on Rockand luggage for over 7 years for my travel needs.

Priced Appropriately
After having a lot of my stuff trashed on recent flights due to baggage handlers, I decided that I wanted hardside luggage. I have also been fortunate enough to have my luggage lost repeatedly, so I wanted something easy to identify. At the moment, there are not many people who fly with "orange" luggage, so identifying my missing bags is always easy. My last set was orange, and I don't think I could go back to anything less "high profile" with respect to appearance. With that said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with this set: 1) Hardside does not equal hard case. The components are likely vacuum formed, and are fairly thin (0.020"?). As such, they are not rigid, but do seem to maintain their shape. Still a far cry better than standard, soft sided luggage. 2) These are budget pieces, and some aspects of them feel cheap. For example, the extendable handle on the carry-on sized piece, is telescoping. When fully extended, the handle dos not feel very robust. Maybe this is because I like to push the suitcase in an upright position while walking though airports (doing so takes bearing the weight of the suitcase off of you and put it onto the wheels). In this mode of operation the handle deflects about an inch due to the plastic bushings in the telescoping pieces. 3) The casters seem to do quite well. They are smooth and quiet, and seem to roll over most surfaces easily. Short carpet provides some extra resistance, but it isn't too bad. Time will tell how they hold up. 4) The Set is advertised as "Super Lightweight", this is true. The suitcases are very light. I would be willing to forgo a little weight savings for the rigidity of a thicker shell. But, again, these are budget minded pieces. The advertising scheme is that with a lighter case, you can pack more of your belongings inside without risk of being "overweight" on the airlines' scales. I figure that the weight savings equate to an extra change of underwear and socks. So, I'm not sure this is a tremendous advantage, as much as it is a marketing ploy. Also, I have high enough frequent flyer status that I do not pay for baggage. So, for me this is a moot point. Overall, these are decent pieces, but I expect that they will be worn out in 4 or 5 years. I fly a lot, so your mileage may vary...

I bought this luggage set because I wanted something recognizable and easy to distinguish from the endless sea of black suitcases at baggage claim. Not only does it stand out, but it’s also one of the most practical luggage sets I’ve owned. The heavy-duty polyester with PVC backing feels strong and reliable. After multiple trips, the material shows no signs of wear. The clear in-line skate wheel system makes rolling through airports effortless. Combined with the push-button telescopic handles, it glides smoothly without wobbling. The padded top and side grip handles are ergonomic and easy on the hands, even when the bags are fully packed. Each upright has two full-size front zipper pockets plus three internal organizational pockets. The fully lined interior looks elegant and keeps everything neatly in place. Each upright has two full-size front zipper pockets plus three internal organizational pockets. The fully lined interior looks elegant and keeps everything neatly in place. Both uprights expand to give extra packing space when needed, while the 22” rolling duffle is perfect for shorter trips or as a carry-on. Stability bars prevent tilting, the back zippered pockets add security, and the included locks and keys give peace of mind. So, this set combines durability, thoughtful design, and standout style. It’s lightweight, expandable, and packed with features that make traveling easier. Best of all, I never waste time at baggage claim because my luggage is instantly recognizable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants practicality with a touch of personality.

Very large and well made
This is a huge case. If I had to dispose of a body, I would get this. I ordered it and loved the durability and the color, but it was too big, so I exchanged it.

Great luggage for a good price!!!
Update: we had this set 6 years. Has been on multiple international trips. Abused, over packed, dragged miles, beaten by the airlines. The large pieces handle finally gave up the ghost while being dragged up 3 flights of stairs in the London tube. Love this set so much bought another. The 2 smaller pieces still going strong. Except fabric torn up inside. Have had these 1.5 years. Has been on two large European vacations. A 12 day cruise and countless weekend get aways. They are light weight! I thought as they were cheaper they would fall apart. As we just returned from our almost 3 week trip it is time to leave a review. The inside fabric on the large one has ripped along the zipper. We over pack them, I put so much crap in them on this last trip it was crazy. In the 2 larger ones we packed each almost dead on at 55 pounds. I did use a strap to help support them as I bought pottery in Morocco. We have all seen how the airlines treat them. They are looking a bit beat up but are still going strong. No problems with handles, wheels or zippers. The carry on fits well in the overhead bin. We could not get it under the seat. I looked around a good bit before buying these. I like the red. It is an orange red not a blue red. But I can find my luggage every time on the luggage belt. Easy to see if someone tries to walk away with it too. Very happy with this set. Price is hard to beat. My breakable so make it home. We do pack breakable souvenirs well, but these sure help.

Budget Pieces with Unfortunate Drawbacks
I bought this set for sister over a year ago and forgot to leave a review. My experience has been mixed with these luggage sets. I bought her the 3 piece pink polka dot set. Pros: 1. These are budget sets with good price points. Great if you need cheap luggage in a pinch and are not looking for top tier quality. This is what drew me to this product. 2. The 19 inch is appropriately sized carry-on that easily fits into overhead bin. Easier to deal with than a lot of the oversized carry-ons, and the bag is less likely to be gate checked. 3. Cute prints. I like bold, exciting luggage. It helps deter theft since it will stand out so much. Why would someone with bad intentions target your bright, bold luggage over a more common looking piece that will blend more seamlessly into the crowd? Cons: 1. The carry-on 19 inch suitcases have a tendency to tip forward no matter how you pack them once full. I thought I could tolerate this at first, but it is rather irritating and a safety hazard. You need to be mindful of where your luggage is at all time and how it is facing. I have decided to upgrade to better luggage this year because of this since it is both annoying and embarrassing. If you are crafty, you might be able to replace the feet with some blocks of wood to make them more stable, but the lack of stability was one of the issues I encountered the most with this set, and the issue I disliked the MOST about the piece. 2. These pieces aren't the best for longevity or built to last longterm. My sister's 28 inch case became ruined after one trip. It did survive to and from England, but the internal boning was damaged to the point we just threw it away. Carry-on has done better, but on both of ours, there are small tears forming after only 2 trips. It could probably be repaired, but honestly I just don't care enough to bother. I never expected these pieces to be lifelong at these prices, but I still think the lack of quality is obvious. Overall: I'd advise paying more and getting something hard-sided with 4 wheels unless you are a very infrequent traveler and can deal with the drawbacks I mentioned above. The fact that this 2 wheeled suitcase does fall over no matter how pack WILL and DOES get old fast. We would even tell airport staff it was unstable and tippy, and they would still not be mindful of how it was placed. WHAM! Both suitcases would face plant into the floor. Everyone looks. It's loud. It's embarrassing. Does this sound like a good time? If your answer is no, buy something nicer and get more bang for your buck.
