Thick and substantial - yes. Flexible and comfortable to wear - definitely.I am not a security professional but wanted a casual (as opposed to dress) belt with zipper compartment for emergency cash (us and foreign currency) - particualrly while on the road. Having three comparments instead of one is an added bonus for me. I bought the 1 1/2 incher and could easily use the 1.75 belt with jeans.I realize that there is a good reason to rivet the buckle to the belt - that said, i'll see if the belt is compatible with a favorite buckle and then have the rivets replaced with snaps to make it possible to switch buckles.Bottom line - impressive belt - stellar quality - great utility - highly recommended.

So I've been using this belt for almost a year now and have two things that bug the crap out of me.1. The 3 compartments are actually one big compartment with three different areas to access it. I have a handcuff key that, after enough times putting on and removing the belt, migrates to different areas of the belt. This does you no good if you expect it to be at the six o'clock and it has moved to the 4 o'clock trapped in-between zippers. Also the length of the zippered area is too long in my opinion.2. I like to wear on the belt holsters. The problem with that is you completely nuturalize that part of the belt for use. I even wear iwb holsters, but that still requires the use of your belt for support. So you have to make sure you are wearing it at the very end of the zipper or the very front with it unzipped a little to make it usable. If you carry any where else just count that part of the belt out. Shortening the zipper and actually compartmentalizing the belt would probably help this out alot.I do like the quality of this belt and craftsmanship put in to it. Remember though no matter how thick the leather, it is still leather and will wear over time and get soft. After almost a year I am probably going to retire this belt as a carry belt unless I'm carrying a 380 or something equivalent in weight.

I'm a 32" waist and ordered a medium, fits on the center hole when using my IWB holster for Glock 43 w/ TRL-6.Very sturdy, has just enough flex for comfort.I was not expecting the belt to come with YKK zippers. These are the highest quality zippers out there, they never fail. If I fold dollar bills in thirds hotdog-style it fits perfectly in the pocket. There are 3 pockets, each slightly longer than a dollar bill, that span the whole length of the belt, there's more space than I know what to do with. I crammed a bunch of $20's into one pocket and forgot they were there, you cant even tell when the pocket is full.I must admit I'm skeptical about the warranty on this belt, that's way too good to be true. The most inexpensive quality gunbelt you'll find is $60, it's only 20 more for one that allows you to conceal valuables. Even without the warranty this belt is worth every penny.

This is a fantastic belt that is very well-made and looks exceptional with any attire. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a solid belt. You can tell they didn't put any shortcuts in. They seem to have fixed some of the previous compliant about the interior zippers not staying shut. I've only used the belt for about a month while on duty but they haven't slipped open at all. That being said I'm careful not to put it on wrong so that the friction of sliding it in opens then up. My only complaint is that it is really thick and stiff. It squeaks when I move around. I guess that's what you're paying for though. And it might need more time to break in. It is so thick that wearing conceal carry with this belt is more bulky when a standard leather belt will do.

One of the best E and E belts around on the market to date. plenty of room for all necessary survival and e and e Gear. Love the belt
