IEBW Study Guide: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Study Guide & Practice Test Questions

It gives you a wide range of various test problems that you can practice, the test varies every time they do testing sessions, so the test may have things that was or wasn’t in the book, for me, I passed the test, I expected quadratic formulas, but there wasn’t any on the test, but there were functions and graphs and there wasn’t anything like that in the book, just expect Algebra 2 questions, patterns, and how to read a graph mathematically, not everything in the book will be on the test, treat this more as a guide than a complete replication of the test, I advise people to use the study guide as a base and build up on it by studying other parts, my test particularly didn’t have a physics part, but other people said that they had a third part involving physics and mechanics, which the book had to offer. The reading section could vary between long passages that carry the bulk of the questions or multiple shorter ones that carry a few questions, it’s again, all about using the guide as a base and building up on it, if you have to research outside of the book then it’ll give you more info to help on the test, I hope this review helps anyone that is hoping to get in the Union.

I bought this for prepping the electrician test and has okay reviews on Amazon, unfortunately I have to agree with some reviewers that there is a lot of typos, and some of the Algebra equations are wrong as far as formulas go. but overall just the basis, I wouldn't say you'll pass the test with this alone, but it just give you a general idea.

I was expecting it to be a huge book but it was small & straightforward. And I liked that. I hope it helps to pass the test.

Seems to be a complete guide

It should be labeled as a "preparation guide to test taking". It has nothing to do with IBEW test questions or study material.

Multiple misspelled words. Terrible wording Ford multiple sentences. Do not recommend to anyone looking to get any value out of this.

Had nothing to do with the material on the test. Waste of time
