This was a gift for my sister and she loved them to use as a meditation and healing chakra.

Gorgeous!! I have been recently working with, and collecting real stones. Let me tell you, it is hard to find REAL non heat treated Citrine. REAL citrine, is a light almost lemon color (semi darker in some of the areas of the stone as that is normal). However, FAKE citrine stones (I showed a photo of an example of how lots of "fake" citrine is usually sold on the market so you don't get confused as to which ones are real and which ones are "heat treated amethyst" (Fake heat treated Amethyst will often have a more arrow jagged look with burnt orange colors or a very dark burnt orange color in which that is NOT real citrine). Now Amethyst is a great stone to have and has many healing properties. However REAL citrine has different healing properties in which you would want to make sure your citrine is not a heat treated amethyst. These are very nice, real, and just beautiful and might I add, much bigger than what you would be able to afford with this seller's very kind price. VERY powerful and these stones will attract money and prosperity. I WILL buy (and have), another order from this seller. See the photos (some in sunlight, natural light and one with flash).

While heat treated amethyst also has amazing properties to work with and assist in energy work - I was looking for authentic citrine, which the advertisement did say it was. I wasn't expecting several loose stones, but one chunk. The stones are lovely though - and after rinsing (they came powdery) they shined up beautifully. They came all bagged together in a one pound bunch. They are pretty, a generous amount of them - and I will enjoy them, but it wasn't what I thought I was purchasing. If you are looking for authentic citrine, this isn't the buy for you.

"this is not real citrine."UPDATE***************************The seller explained to me that yes this is real citrine in a email. He states: "The stones you received are heated to enhance color but this material is citrine as defined by the Gemological Institute of America who is the authority of gem grading and identification. Per their information: "Because quartz in yellow hues is rare in nature, most citrine sold today is the result of heating which is an acceptable practice with this mineral type." We have a licensed Gemologist on staff who checks all our minerals to make sure they are authentic and within the GIA's guidelines before selling them."And then very kindly offered to send another stone type from their shop for free or true heated points at a reduced cause as they are more expensive. Wonderful customer and kindness from this company. I am very pleased. I will continue to order my crystals from this company as I always had. A wonderful purchase.

These stones are a delight; I felt my solar plexus energized when I opened the parcel, so that's pretty cool. All different sizes; no actual points' in the lot but I would assume that would drive up the price tag. I am pretty sure this is Citrine, even if it's heat treated amethyst; it is a pleasure to inform you that since the color was has been altered by forcing it doesn't mean it doesn't do what citrine is supposed to as I said my solar plexus were all a flutter. Happy with the parcel I received. My only retort would have to be that they were kinda greasy; which I found rather odd. I washed them and voula no greasy.

I was more than happy with this group of citrine! Very piece I received was gorgeous! I got a total of 31 pieces plus a few chips at the bottom of the bag. 2 large pieces, mostly medium sizes, and a few small ones. All of which fit my needs in various ways. I would definitely recommend to my friends and will be reordering!!

The correct amount (1lb) was sent. Four pieces were very large and looked great, several pieces were decent sized but I would say 1/3 of the package was pieces that were too small to use. I imagine they chipped during shipping because the item was not very well wrapped. That being said, I'm still happy with what I received. I've included a picture of the largest stone and some of the medium.
