Can these work indoors ? using a battery ? if so, is the battery included?

The solar panel requires strong direct sunlight to function. No battery included. That said, we would hold the wires to a AA battery from time to time, just to make sure all the mechanics were functioning properly.

How long does it take for a 10-year-old child to assemble a robot?

We build the robot by ourselves and it takes around 3 hours.

Is there a book with directions available online? It was missing from my box.
