Great Flying Lil Plane
I've been flying RC aircraft for over 50 years and wanted a small and slow aircraft that I could fly in my backyard while relaxing in the evenings with a cool beverage. The UMX Night Vapor fit the bill perfectly. It's very easy to fly, even for a new comer with the built-in stabilization. The stabilization can be turn-off for that more spirited pilot. When flying outdoors, best to fly when there's little to no wind, since this lightweight aircraft can easily be blown into the trees. The plane can be flown indoors, but unless the plane is flown in a large area, such as a gymnasium, maneuverability will be limited. Durability is good, however if you fly the plane into an hard obstacle at maximum speed, it will break. Also, handle the aircraft gently - it's delicate. Keep the original eFlite box for storage. Setup was easy, charge the battery, insert battery into aircraft battery holder with hook and loop (Velcro), turn on the transmitter, plug in aircraft battery and fly. The hook and loop attachment for the battery can sometimes let loose, so a small hook and loop tie wrap is more useful. YMMV

Great for small spaces! Very satisfying to fly.
A great plane for those who want to fly a real RC plane without having to go to a field. Anyone can fly this with a little bit of practice. Super easy to land/cruise around with and the gyro helps with those random wind gusts hit. Still, I wouldn't recommend flying this in anything more than a very light breeze. It doesn't take much to get this thing up in the air and a strong gust will definitely have an effect. Decent controllability and plenty of power for tricks. The box it comes in doubles as a storage case too which is awesome. Highly recommend. Get the ready to fly version if you don't already have a Spektrum 2.4 Ghz transmitter.

Gutted plane.
Bought bind and fly received it 2 weeks ago still haven’t been able to fly it because it didn’t come with the receiver or the push rods. Very very disappointed. PLANE CAME GUTTED OF ELECTRONICS. REDICULOUS IF I WANTED THAT I WOULDVE BOUGHT THE ONE THAT WAS 50$ CHEAPER

It flies, but watch the weight.
I haven't flown an R/C plane since 1989, but I managed to fly this little thing a few times without breaking it. I bought a 200 MAH battery for it, and used it for its first flights. It seemed heavy and needed lots of throttle to fly level. This got it going faster than I'd like in my small yard and I hit a tree one time. The landing gear popped out on one side but was undamaged. If you're out of practice, use the safe mode and a 70 MAH battery, and take it to an open area. It will be fun re-learning how to fly. I gave it 4 stars because it is terribly fragile. Priced a tad high. also. edit: the 200 mah battery I used affected the performance, with the included battery or better still, a 70 mah battery, it flies very well. Their are repair parts available, so I raise the rating to 5 stars. Not for rank beginners, but an extremely fun plane.

Best Cul De Sac Flyer!
Right out the box it was ready to go. You should probably invest in a spare prop. Amazon offer a prop for the previous version and the UMX Night Vapor version and both are equivalent and will work just fine on the new UMX version. Not made for ANY wind so be prepared for this. Otherwise this thing will lower your blood pressure it is so relaxing!! It can take some abuse so dont be fooled by its dainty size. I would recommend this plane.

Very good flyer indoors
This is my first indoor plane and I like it alot. It can fly very slowly, and has dual rates to make it even easier to fly. Comes assembled, charge battery and go. Reasonable value - I would recommend it for that purpose. I think it would have a hard time flying in any wind.

buy two they are very fragile
This plane is a dream to fly in low wind conditions. It floats on air with very little effort, The best time to fly is at dusk just before, and with practice, long after dark, The lights make it easy to navigate in the dark. It is whisper quiet and it looks like a dragon fly, or a UFO floating through the air with lights flashing.! It binds easily with my spectrum transmitter. This is an excellent plane for an experienced R.C. pilot. This is a lightweight fragile airplane. It needs the be handled with kids gloves!

Well worth at least six stars.
I don't give out 5 stars, this deserves it. Do you want slow flight? Fast flight? Indoor flight? Night Flight? This has all of it. Yes, you will need to tune it up before it will fly true, but you really need to do that with EVERY plane you build or buy. This thing is fun, safe, and will allow you to build your skills up. The lights are bright as Hades for day flights, but seriously shine at night. Get yourself some nice 150mAh 1S batteries and it will last you a good long time. I get right around 15 minutes per flight, and this really is a GREAT time, its just enough time to really enjoy flying, and gives you a good amount of time to rest up. SAFE mode and AS3X work great. Binding is simple, programing is simple, and the instructions are well written. There is no upgrade you need to install into your transmitter, simply set up a 3 channel air-frame (set up a 4 channel if you don't have the option to drop the ailerons). My rudder and my elevator were not even close, but its pretty simple to to tune them up. Take your time, fly slow and enjoy the learning. This will give you everything you need to learn to fly fixed-wing A/C if that is your goal. Otherwise, this is a fun little flier when the winds are dead and/or at night.
