I'm not big on face masks for the most part. I've tried multiple kinds and types. I feel like they're a waste of time and money. 2 things that made me go ahead and make a purchase. First, I have been looking into the Alana Mitchell skincare line and am giving some of her products a try. Second, the concept that you actually mix and activate the mask was appealing to me. Also, the price is very reasonable for 2 spa quality masks. The product arrived a day sooner than expected, and was shipped directly from her online store. Not expecting much more than my face feeling soft for about 30 minutes...I was pleasantly suprised. It's very simple to use. You push the top into the bottom chamber and remove the lid. Then you mix it with a brush, finger, whatever you choose...just stir it together. In an upward motion apply it. After about 30 minutes it was completely dry and felt tight. Another reviewer mentioned you can see your face as it looked in your late teens, early 20s...while the mask is on. Keep in mind that's while the mask is still on. Smooth and glass like. After I peeled the mask off and removed any residue with a warm washcloth...I was pleased. My face is really glowing. Some people say that they have a glowing complexion and the only thing I see is a shiny, oily face. This is really a glow. It brightened my face as well as softened some of the lines. I get so tired of reading reviews that either are biased or inaccurate due to getting products for free or some kind of perk from a company. So, it's important to me to share my honest experience... It's not going to make you look 20 if your 40. It's not going to give some dramatic result. What the mask will do is brighten up your skin, moisturize, and temporarily soften fine lines I'm 43, and never really put much effort into skincare, until recently. I am starting to notice little lines and wrinkles that weren't there before. I am fortunate that I look about 10 years younger than I am...but eventually time catches up with everyone. I am hoping that the other items I purchased from Alana are as impressive as something as simple as this mask. If you like masks...you should love this. I think this would be a nice addition to a skincare regimen once or twice a week. Will definitely be repurchasing for myself as well as my mom. We all have different expectations and results with products. The only way we know what works for us as an individual, is trial and error. I have to say this is a winner for me!

Second try at an honest review. This product is very expensive and a bit of a gimmick. No signs of a change in my skin after using it but it was fun to play with. I purchased the small one to try before making a decision about putting more money into it. It’s not worth it at all. It’s just a other fad peel mask. I wouldn’t recommend it. The tops break easily. Mask doesn’t seem to mix well. Very very tiny in size (almost didn’t cover my face).

The mask was very easy to mix up, but yes, it is gooey and a bit runny. I just wiped out around my eye brows and tapped the stuff up from my chin as it dried, and it did take a LONG time to try -- 30 minutes or so. But I just went about my business one it had really started to dry a bit and stopped running. Peeling it off was a bit stingy -- because it really got rid of the dead skin cells and I peeled it off! Once it was peeled off, and my watering eyes had calmed (LOL) -- I just could not get over how SMOOTH my late-fifties face was! Ordered another two pack. I will be faithfully be doing this mask once a week.

This product is fantastic and easy to use. I popped the lid and the liquid went into the bottom container. There was a little bit of liquid left in the lid that couldn’t find it’s way to the collagen, so I had to turn the lid to get it all out(not a big deal). It dissolved quickly, but I did mix it up like she said to in the video. I used a mask brush to put it on, I got a couple extra drops around my nose, and had to clean off my eyebrows before it dried, but overall it went on very even. My mask took longer to dry then the package states, at least 40 mins. You have to wait for it to dry completely. I peeled it off and could see all of my fine lines on the peeled off mask. My skin felt very soft and some old pimple marks had even faded. 3 days later, my skin is still softer than usual. I am looking forward to getting more of these masks.

I followed instructions and pushed the top down to release the liquid, but there was only one drop, making it useless. I opened the second one and it was fine. The content is a small quantity, but I did like the mask.
