I was initially drawn to the Russell Hobbs 24673 Emma Bridgewater 3-in-1 Hand Blender by its charming Polka Dot design and the promise of versatility with its multiple attachments. However, my experience with this appliance has been far from satisfactory, leading me to question its practicality and durability.Despite my excitement over the aesthetic appeal, the practical performance of this hand blender has left much to be desired. With minimal usage—barely exceeding a dozen times, primarily for simple tasks like blending soups and baking a handful of cakes—the appliance quickly revealed its shortcomings.One incident, in particular, stands out as emblematic of the overall disappointing experience. Attempting to swiftly chop an onion, a task one would expect a device boasting a "powerful 500W motor" and "12,000 Rotations Per Minute" to handle with ease, the blades became stuck within seconds, emitting the telltale scent of burning. This was a baffling occurrence, considering the onion was already pre-cut into small pieces. The subsequent overheating of the mechanism not only rendered the hand blender inoperable but also compromised its ability to attach to other accessories effectively.Moreover, the promised power and efficiency of the detachable stainless steel blending leg with stainless steel blades turned out to be nothing more than a disappointment. Far from being robust and reliable, the rotation of the blades felt feeble, failing to deliver the expected performance.As for the whisk attachment, its lackluster performance mirrored that of the blender. Instead of providing the necessary agitation for whipping ingredients, it felt as flimsy as a metal magic spring, failing to achieve the desired results.In conclusion, while the Russell Hobbs 24673 Emma Bridgewater 3-in-1 Hand Blender may capture hearts with its delightful design, its practical performance falls woefully short of expectations. Despite its impressive specifications on paper, the reality is a device that struggles even with basic tasks and exhibits signs of poor durability. As a consumer, I am deeply disappointed by this purchase, emphasizing the importance of functionality over aesthetic appeal when selecting kitchen appliances.

Although it arrived on time and was what we ordered unfortunately there wasn’t any bubble wrap or any padding to keep the box safe. This was for a gift and it’s a shame the box was damaged.

Useful kitchen gadget. Obviously paying a premium for EB name. Unfortunately have found the main lid for the blender if you wash it gets water stuck in it which seems really unhygienic. Not sure what to do about it.

I love this, does so much more than my old one and so pretty!
