Ceramedx – Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser | Natural Ceramide Cleanser for Dry, Sensitive Skin | Cruelty Free, Vegan & Fragrance Free | 8 fl oz

This is working well for sensitive skin - I get rash and eczema around my hairline and ears if I’m not careful. So far this has been a good face wash.

I got this cleanser because it is suggested as a vegan and cruelty free replacement for the CeraVe moisturizing cleanser. It definitely is not as moisturizing as the CeraVe product, and I'm not entirely sure it gets my skin as clean as that product does. Winter will be the true test of its performance. It also has a very cardboard box smell that I'm not crazy about. But I do want to keep my skin care vegan and cruelty free, so I'm going to give it a little bit more time and see how it goes. I'm also keeping my eyes open for other replacement products that meet my criteria.

This is a super gentle facial cleanser. Have used it now for about a week and really love it, no tightness, no irritation and not drying at all. Rated super high on Yuma.

2nd bottle. LOVE it. Due to it being a foam you do not overuse and it lasts forever. Best face wash i tried in 40 years. Vegan and cruelty free (that is why I bought it in the 1st place). Great alternative to cruel CeraVe. I can also highly recommend their cream in a round jar. Phenomenal for super dry skin.

Pros: It's vegan and cruelty-free.Cons: It comes out of the bottle as a foam, which I personally dislike. It also seems to give me acne. Maybe my skin is too oily for this type of face wash. I also can't open my eyes while using it, as it burns my eyes. CeraVe's and Equate's foaming facial cleansers do not burn my eyes. They are also more affordable.

I bought this for my husband and I started using it too. It’s a gentle foaming face wash that is unscented. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to dryness. This is free of harsh chemicals and non-stripping. I’m now using the Ceramedex moisturizer as well. I’m grateful to find a company that doesn’t add parabens and isn’t exorbitantly priced.

I'm not sure if something is wrong with the one I received or if it just sucks. Normally the ceramedx products are incredible and I've loved every single other product of theirs. For some reason this product irritated my skin so badly. After I used it once I turned really red, my skin was super irritated and stingy feeling, and every (otherwise non-irritating) product I put on after burned like hell for several hours after. What gives?

Good product but item arrived unsealed and leaking in the package.
