Fender Fortis F-15BT 15" Powered Speaker 1300 Watts

Am I supposed to complain when this speaker went on sale for $250 (it was new)? Truth be told, this speaker is quality. Toying about with the setting on the back is easy. Good power, comparible to the Presonus Air 15 I also have. Depending on the settings used you can have the limit light flicker. The 7.5% tilt is a nice option. Wood cabinet is sturdy and does help enhance the base. It does have one flaw I found strange. The power-cord socket slid in-and-out up to 1cm. I want to say quality control in this case is an issue. I'll look to put some glue and stabalise the socket. Other than that, apart from the one issue, this was a steal for the price paid. I do think the current $699 price tag is very steep. If someone wanted a reuptable speaker for $700, Fender being a newbie to the DJ market, they might look elsewhere. Also, depending on the brand they could get 2 fairly reliable used boxes for about the same price. I would expect the price on these speakers to drop, in-line with its competitors soon (written on 13/5/2019).

I only wish I had purchased two! It is AMAZING! Sounds like you are at a concert. This is one purchase that exceeded my expectations- the volume capacity and sound quality are incredible. I plan to purchase a second one in the near future. It showcases music recorded live and reproduces sounds that make the listener feel as though they are attending a live show. LOVE IT !! Side note- thoroughly dislike neighbor which makes it even more amazing!!!
