I’m a post menopausal woman. I bought this to see if it would help my blood sugar issues. I’ve only been taking it for a little over a week. I stopped sleeping. I’ve been up all night to see the dawn every day now for 5 days. I could not figure out what was happening. I addressed my caffeine intake, I already drink decaf coffee. I looked up my new supplement and there it is, side effect, insomnia. This is a pretty high dose, I didn’t realize that. I’ve stopped taking it but as it’s 12:51 am right now, and I’m still wide awake, it’s going to take some time to wear off. If I ever take this again, I’ll try a much lower dose and not every day. If you already have issue with caffeine and trouble sleeping every now and then, don’t take this. I rated it at 4 because Thorne is a good company. This just isn’t for me and after reading about this mineral, this dose is too high for every day consumption.
