Works for 3d printer
This worked great on a Voxelab proxima resin 3d printer. There is a protective film on both sides. One side of the film has a very weak adhesive, the other doesn’t. It needed to be slanted 10-15 degrees for maximum light blockage. I had several bubbles under the film but it does not appear to be affecting print quality at all. No complaints.

Not fully matched in cancelling light, but good enough for photographers and others it seems.
Not full polarization, but still useful for my purposes. I don't think these are accurately made enough to work on a screen. They also allow about 10% of the light through when perpendicular. This means they won't work for the classic blackout experiment. They would still likely be useful for photography and lighting. You may want to look for something more expensive if you want impressive performance.

Work well to polarize out door screen.
The led screen on our spa pump was almost impossible to read in sunshine. A small square over the led readout worked perfectly. The adhesion wasn’t the best but will try again.

Not for resin printers
Purchased this to replace the original polarizing film on my Anycubic Photon Mono X . This is not my first time replacing polarizing film so I knew how to rotate and mark before cutting and installing. This just never got dark enough and ended up letting light through resulting in resin curing in sheet in the vat. I'm sure the product is fine for other applications, just NOT resin printing.

Why sticky doe?
Okay yeah it do what it say it do.It will in fact polarize light based on its orientationComes with protective film on it though. On both sides. This film ruins the polarizing effect, so it must be removed. And one side has adhesive, so you now get a film that you must adhere immeaditly, or it will collect particles that ruin the optical quality. Its fine I suppose. The glue is a major bummer.

Worked well
This worked well for me. They blocked all light going through them when two filters are placed 90 degrees to eachother. Not sure I like the "sticky" surface that automatically comes on one side of the film, but I'll deal. For those who can't seem to get them to block all light: it's important to note that once the light is polarized it can become unpolarized once passed through any other medium. Thus, if the protective films on the polarizing film aren't removed, they will not operate properly. The "sticky" side will also disrupt the polarization just slightly, so it's important to take this into account with your setup as well.
