LUCID Premium Rayon made from Bamboo Jersey Mattress Protector - Ultra Soft - Waterproof - KingOEKO-TEX STANDARD 100

I bought two twin XL Lucid Rayon from Bamboo Jersey mattress protectors for my split king bed with movable frames and have had them on the beds for about a week. I wanted an extra set of mattress protectors so that when I washed one set, I could immediately put on the other clean set and make the beds right away without having to wash the only set of mattress protectors right away. So far, no complaints with these Lucid mattress protectors. They are of a good quality and are lightweight and fit very nicely on each of our 12" thick mattresses with plenty of room to amply cover all sides of the mattress and extend a ways on the undersides so that there's no worry of them slipping off of the mattress. When I first took the protectors out of their packages, there was a crinkly noise. But, as soon as I put the protectors on to the mattresses, the sound disappeared and my husband and I haven't heard any noise since. Once on the mattress with a sheet over the protectors, we don't even feel them or know that they're there. This mattress protector is also very soft and comfortable. And, even though they're thin, they have more than sufficient thickness to prevent us from feeling the mattresses' material (ie, texture, seams, etc) on the mattress top . Also, when I first opened the packages, I didn't detect any strong smells with them, just a slight smell that wasn't unpleasant. And, neither my husband nor I have smelled any odor from the protectors since they've been on the bed and covered with sheets. This Lucid mattress protector is very similar to the ones (different brand) that we got when we bought our mattresses two years ago, and of the same good quality as that other brand. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this Lucid mattress protector again, and will do so if/when the other brand's protectors that we've had for two years wear out. I definitely recommend this Lucid mattress protector.

I replaced my old waterproof mattress pad with this one and wow, such a difference! This one is practically silent compared to the one I was using. The backing on my old one was like a thick shower curtain liner and would get bunched up. No awkward bunching with this one and it's SUPER soft to the touch. Of course I don't sleep directly on it, it's under a fitted sheet, but it keeps cat fur off of my mattress even when I'm changing my sheets and my always shedding cat decides the mattress pad is a good place to hang out. Not sure how it'd do with a puddle of water sitting on it for a long duration, but I've spilled a large gulp size of water (I missed my mouth somehow, don't judge me) and the mattress is dry underneath. I can't tell it's there when I'm sleeping on it, fits my bed perfectly and is super easy to toss into the washer and dryer to clean. I bought a full sized one for a bed I was temporarily sleeping on then got the king sized one when I went back to my king sized bed because of my awesome experience with the first one.

I love this mattress protector! I previously had issues with most other brands, either because they made me feel too hot , made that crinkly plastic noise when you move around, or they were uncomfortable & changed the feel of the mattress, or they just were not moisture proof. This product has none of those issues. It fit my Lucid 12” king gel foam mattress like a glove. It stays put no matter how restless you sleep & there is almost no motion transfer. It feels like a soft plush sheet. It even seems to make my top sheets feel softer.I tested out how well it protects the mattress from moisture ,by pouring a small cup of water on it. There was absolutely no moisture transfer to the mattress. I have had this for a month now & after a few washes as recommended, the product comes out looking & feeling brand new. It is super soft, but very lightweight and durable. My husband & I have not slept so well in years. I highly recommend this mattress protector & I am buying them for all the mattresses in my home. It’s best to buy two per bed, to have 1 on hand when the other is being washed.

I needed a inexpensive but NICE protector to not only protect my new mattress LUCID 10 Inch Latex Foam Mattress - Ventilated Latex and CertiPUR-US Certified Foam - 25-Year Warranty - Kingbut also protect the warrantee as in years past a had a $2k mattress go bad 3 years in and the warrantee was denied because of one 1' drink stain.This cover is waterproof on top but not on the sides and is exactly what I was looking for as I sleep hot so I need the sides to let air into my mattress. I see no reason to buy a "cool" breathable mattress to only 100% seal it in a "bag" or cover / protector that will not let air in; In a Hotel with bedbugs I can see 100% coverage perhaps, but not needed at my house as again my mattress needs air.This cover is almost as thin as a sheet. I considered the thicker quilted style mattress pad but thought I would start with this option based on price alone and glad I did.I am very happy with this product, feels just like a thin sheet, IS NOT HOT AT ALL!!! And i'm a big guy that lives on the coast in the "HOT, Humid South" so I can't have hot. Fits snug around my 10" mattress and I think would do a larger mattress with no issue but looks tight and nice like a fitted sheet on my LUCID mattress.You simply can't go wrong if you need a breathable, thin, low cost protector that will not change the "feel" of your mattress.Happy I purchased this one and at this price may just buy a new one every year but this product has a long warrantee so may be a long term inexpensive investment! I truly like this product!
