Melissa & Doug Snowman Stacker Wooden Toddler Toy (8 pcs)

I got this to give my 2.5 year old this December, as a way for him to get excited about Christmas. As with all other Melissa & Doug toys, this little snowman stacker is made really well!! It’s actually a lot bigger than I imagined (not HUGE but a perfect sized stacker). He’s really into stacking & building lately, so this should be a hit!!Would make an adorable gift for toddlers!! This is a smart little toy! The grandchildren are all attracted to it. I bought it thinking of the 2 year olds who like stacking toys but this is much more challenging, putting pieces together in a specific way to fit, lining up the features. It was great for our 4 year old. The younger ones just stacked the rings in any old order and didn’t seem frustrated that it didn’t make a snowman. Their satisfaction is simply in fitting the rings on the peg. Anyway, it’s a beautifully finished wooden toy, quality as always from Melissa & Doug.

My kids 1,3 and 7 love it. It’s after Christmas and they are still playing with it. We had a little mishap with some syrup (1 year old found a bottle left on the table and took it to the playroom unnoticed lol) and it held up well to being scrubbed clean. While the shine on the finish is a bit more dull than it was before the wash, the paint held up and didn’t chip of scratch off. Overall I think it is a great product that will continue to be a favorite toy for several more years and then a decoration after that. As long as the kids keep up with all the pieces.

My daughter got this for Christmas (around new year's she opened it) and while we love the concept and it's very cute and fun to play with, I've noticed the paint already starting to come off, on parts like the red scarf painted on the white snowman body. This is a little disappointing considering she plays with it on carpet (it's not getting beat up too much by being thrown on hardwood floors or anything) and the fact that it's only been a few weeks. I hope she plays with it for a couple more winters as I'll pack it away with winter stuff and bring it out again next year. It's still fun/a little harder to put together for me to play with as an adult vs the rainbow stackers. Just wish the paint held up better.

Got this for my 16 month old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She likes stacking it in different variations, and although she doesn’t always stack it the “correct” way, for now she is just having fun putting the pieces on and taking them off the stick. The pieces hold up very well and are very well made. Will be looking into ordering more types of these stackers since my daughter loves them so much! The only drawback I can see is my daughter likes to walk with it and I have to watch her closely with it to make sure she doesn’t put the dowel stick in her mouth as it could be a potential safety issue.

Found this fantastic toy after a series and f major mentdowns from our 2 year old about not being able to build a snowman. It has saved the day!! Looked like a balance toy (guess I didn't read the description well enough) and I was thrilled to realize it is a ring style stacking toy. Decreas frustration for sure. She has stacked it in a bunch of different ways and is delighted each time. Paint on wood is solid. Will be a great toy/decoration for years to come.

We have had this toy for years and continue to buy it for other families, because it is always a hit. My kids are excited to see it and play with it Christmas after Christmas.

Cool toy

My son is obsessed with snowmen. So we got him this puzzle. It lasted about a week before the paint started coming off and a knot from the wood it’s make out of fell out.
