I just received the bender yesterday. Got it unboxed and assembled. Assembly was easy and nothing was missing. Appears to be a quality product. My only "concerns"- packaging, not the greatest, - finish, I cant tell if it has a an actual finish(paint, powder coat, etc.) and the degree wheel- the numbers/lines are hard to see but should be easy enough to remedy. Haven't used it yet, so I will update review at that time. ***update- I’ve now used this to build a roll cage for a race car, just great! I opted to utilize the swag off road kit to use an air jack. I went with Woodward fab dies, perfect fit and great results.***

First off, the instructions are terrible. However, the bender does work well. I bought the die from maxpeedngrounds and it fits. It will need to be painted as it comes pretty bare bones and will rust quickly if not protected. The handle was quite rusty when it arrived but some sandpaper and paint cured that. The locking collar needed to retapped as the set screw wouldn’t thread in. Overall, little things were wrong but it’s still worth the price.

Fairly well built unit and like I said a heck of a deal as most of this design are several times more expensive. But the true cost is in the mandrels and there are none with this and I don’t see them offered by the same company. But a very good base to build on.

This was the lowest price bender I could find, even after pricing having my own CAD files laser cut. I'm using a die from Kaka Industries. Woodward dies apparently work also. Included hardware is SAE. I'd buy it again.

I bought this bender and a die from MaxSpeedingRods. I'm not convinced that the bender is at fault, but the pins didn't fit the die until I opened the hole through it with a drill. Hard to know where the problem is when there isn't a drawing to compare against. Overall I do plan on keeping and modifying the bender. its well built, but the design is a bit mid. As others have noted, the parts tend to flop around. I had no issue however and was able to use it to bend up some tube for a bumper stinger. I think a few small changes could make this a fantastic tool, but for the price point I'm satisfied.

This is a solid bender and is well made. I demolished my Model 3 bender and got this hoping the 3 dies would work. They do but NOT without modification. The reviews that say they work are wrong and are most likely mistaking the old Model 3 bender with the newer model 32 style. It is solid, has good components, decent but not great instructions. If you have model 32 dies or other compatible dies this is a great buy. Besides the instructions being not great I have nothing bad to say about the benders function at all.
