This is by far the worst drain unit I have ever encountered
This is by far the worst drain unit I have ever encountered. The basket is much to shallow, it is also hard to grasp, and putting it back in place is hit or miss. Terrible design.

Totally unusable. Unable to take strainer out as the top is "too low profile" Should have paid attention to prior reviews Returned

didn't fit
This did not fit my Franke sink because the bottom (tail) of the strainer is round and the slot in the drain is rectangular. There is no way I would have known about the problem beforehand as there are no additional photos of the strainer. I had to return it.
