Stop giving bad reviews
I see a few reviews saying that the glue wasn’t very strong on the box and so it dried out the candy and they are stale. That tells me one thing: you are not the target market for this candy. Please stop ordering it. And definitely stop complaining to Amazon. They are SUPPOSED to be hard and a little stale feeling. That is their defacto. If you don’t like it, then don’t order them. If you want something slightly softer and squishier, I recommend trying jujyfrutes. If those are still too hard for you, just order Dots. These are not small Dots. They are harder and taste different. Please stop leaving bad reviews for a product you simply don’t understand. (Stepping off soap box)

Classic Jujubes at a reasonable price
Jujubes are by far my favorite candy (and have been for long time). Taste wise they are similar to the much more common Jujyfruit candy's except they are smaller, a bit more firm, and have in my opinion have a much bolder flavor. Cost wise, this product on Amazon is a bit more expensive than the price I can find in stores (which for Jujubes is becoming more difficult to find in store). Quality wise, the cases that I have gotten from Amazon have been significantly fresher than boxes that can be bought at a local store. The ones in local stores tend to be extremely hard from age (sometimes to the point where they cannot be eaten), However every box I have gotten from Amazon has been fresh (i.e firm but not teeth shattering hard) which is why I buy Jujubes almost exclusively from here (even though its a 30% markup of the price in my local store). One small negative I will add is that they no longer offer Jujubes shirts for sale on the back of the boxes =(. Overall amazing candy, you cannot go wrong buying from here.

These are SO Fresh!
I have loved Jujubes for probably 50 years now and this is the only place I can find them anymore. I like them best when they are a little stale: Hard, but chewy when you suck on them for a while. I have had trouble with ordering them on Amazon in the past when they were crunchy and brittle (?!?) but I finally tried again and this time they are soft and chewy and flavorful. Way too fresh for me, but my husband now loves them and I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep them hidden until they harden up so I can enjoy them the way I remember! Amazon's got a good batch right now!!! (March 2023)

Best Candy in the world, but hard to find
Jujubes are my childhood favorite candy. It used to be that you could find them in nearly every supermarket, drugstore, gas station or minimart. I think that was when they were manufactured by Heide. A few years ago, they began to disappear from all the usual stores, even though they are still made. Although the Heide sub-brand still exists, the company was bought in 2012 by Ferrara, and the candy is now manufactured in Mexico and much harder to find. Along with Jujyfruits, Heide's other gummy candy, which is a bit easier to find. I love the texture and the flavor of these very simple candies, and have fond memories of eating large boxfuls in the theater as a little girl. Nothing special, but if you love them like I do, this is a great place to find them as they seem to have all but disappeared in retail stores in the US where I've looked.

Harder than normal
I’ve loved these since I was a kid. They are the real thing, but unfortunately they are harder than they are supposed to be. Jujubes are not a chewy candy like Jujyfruit. They are harder to chew. These, however are almost crunchy. If that doesn’t bother you and you let them soften in your mouth like I do, then I recommend them.

Fresh and delicious
I love Jujubes, and this set is great! They're fresh (still a bit soft - not hard and dried-out like they eventually get), and obviously tasty. Highly recommend if you happen to need a ton of Jujubes like I apparently did.

After a year long quest roughly equivalent to the lord of the rings series...
These semi-flavorless plastic lumps are my very favorite candy in the world. I knew, with 100% certainty, every jujubes carrying store in New Orleans. Once upon a time, approximately last year, I was having a bad day. I had been hit by several cars (New Orleans does not have good drivers), and was PMSing like nobodies businesses. I went to New Orlean’s 7 jujubes carrying drug stores. Nothing. I found a jujubes tracker online that said jujubes were near. They were not. I went to every drugstore and box store in New Orleans, Metairie, and Kenner. Jujubes were gone. I cried hysterically in a CVS parking lot. For a while I found a shop that sold jujubes filled cookies. I would buy the cookies and break the jujubes out and eat them. It was an expensive way to get a fix, and the jujubes were too soft after having been baked. My life was in shambles. Thank you. After a year of searching, I finally found real, rock hard, filling ruining jujubes. I feel complete. Don’t you dare ever run out. Really. Wtf will I do then? Eat jujyfruits? Gross. Anyway, thanks!

Same taste but very hard
I love Jujubes. When they first came, I was excited to eat some. (a reminder of my youth). The candies were so hard that you could brake your teeth on them. I was disappointed and thought well maybe it is just this one box. NO, all of them were/are as hard as rocks. I now have to remember to let them soften in my mouth before trying to bite or chew them. I checked and they were not of of experation ( I was grabbing for straws to explain the hardness). I would like to continue to get these but if they continue to be this hard I may have to find something else as a treat.
