Fisher-Price Octonauts Gup-B & Kwazii [Amazon Exclusive]

This is an amazing deal for the price! Not only do you get a ship that can go in the water, you get a figure and some additional toys to play with. The figure can move its head, arms, and legs (sitting position). The shark even changes color in the water, very cool and my 5 year LOVES it! I added some of the other GUP's to our collection because they were so durable and a tremendous value!

My son loves Octonatus and especially loves Quasi. So when we were looking for toys to send him as a gift from his new sibling (to announce he was going to be a big brother) this seemed like the perfect addition. He absolutely loves it. It's fun and he can play with it both in and out of the bath tub. It actually squirts water out of the sharks mouth, which may be my son's favorite feature. We try and avoid bath time play since it takes awhile to fully dry, but it's just as fun out of the bath as it is in the bath. Definitely a win!

This was bought as part of a large number of Octonaut toys. The kids love them, and the fact that they are bath friendly only makes sense given the theme. These are a kid safe rubber and plastic combination. There are small pieces so those who eat everything may need supervised, but it is essentially kid friendly.Some even have hidden functions, so be careful! I got squirted in the face with an orange shark, and saw one start moving on it's own (yet there are no batteries, so this must be wind up somehow). I am beginning to suspect that each has their own hidden ability. They are nothing fancy, but getting sprayed during bath time with a toy you thought was safe....well, kids love the shocked expressions.

I bought both the Gup B and Gup A for my 4 year old son's birthday. He is a fan of Octonauts on Disney Jr and we have 2 of the Octonaut books. He plays with both of these toys in the tub and out of the tub, often taking them in the car with him. They are pretty sturdy, although the Gup A top comes off kind of easy (but is easily put back on). They are a great size and both characters fit into either Gup. The price is a little high and you will have to wait a little longer to get them shipped because they come from the UK, but it was well worth it. My son loves them and has played with them pretty much every day in his toy rotation since he got them. If you have a boy with a great imagination, you won't regret this toy :)

My son loves the octonauts so much that we were willing to buy nearly any octo toys we could find... so when given a chance to buy Kwazii *and* the awesome Gup B, we were going to go for it.However my son is, as many 3 year olds are, rather tough on his toys. I was certain that after opening this toy, the plastic bubble-dome would snap off immediately, or the fins would break off the Gup... but I was wrong!It has been over a year, and I have winced MANY times during bathtime,for example, as my son bashed the Gup against the tub, or yanked on the dome really hard, or tried to shove other big toys into the driver's seat -- but this toy just won't seem to break. The "fins" on the Gup are actually a dense rubber, so they flex a little. But the build quality on the toy is top-notch in all aspects. The graphics are vibrant and cute, the Kwazii doll is excellently rendered and looks just like the TV show characters. I am so glad that there are people out there doing quality work like this. After winding up with so many chintzy plastic toys, it is a breath of fresh air to give something of this quality to my son.I just wanted other parents to realize that the toys' price is reflected in the build quality. That's not something you can discern just from the pictures.

Another great Gup for your Octonauts collection! Grandson was thrilled it had Kwazii with it, but even more impressed with the fact that the shark really "bites!". Uncle couldn't believe how many times a day my grandson wanted to get into the bathtub, but he agreed after seeing all the Gups it was not about getting clean, it was about playing with his toys. I've ordered the last Gup and can't wait for it to come in. These have all proven to be great toys--durable and can play with them anywhere.

My son absolutely loved this toy when we bought it for him a few years ago, and he STILL loves playing with it. It's practically been a permanent fixture in our bathroom since we got it, and it's definitely the most used, longest lasting bath toy he's had. His younger brother loves it too, and often sleeps with it in his bed. Given how often it is used and that it's constantly in the water, this has held up amazingly.

A great colorful toy! My boys will love it! They watch the Octonauts on IPad and love the show. They are really into sharks so this will be perfect. The shark is big enough for little hands but not too big. They will get a lot of use out of this, and this is realatively inexpensive on Amazon.
