These are so cute! They are much heavier than you’d expect for a smaller bookend, which is needed to keep books in place. I bought them just for my David Byrne collection. I left the books in their sides so the titles would be easier for people to see. But even if books were standing up, I think it would support their weight. A really nice touch to my coffee table.

The product was very pretty, but arrived broken. We returned it and received a discount. I chose not to reorder the same item because these have no base that slides under the books to keep them steady and the items, pretty as they were, would not have been heavy enough to hold a stack of books upright.

Absolutely adorable, different and creative. Perfect little feminine touch for my office. They are currently holding four books together just fine. Remember that the girl w her legs straight out goes on her back. I forgot and put her w/ her back to the books (like the other one) and it was wobbly. Turned her around and it's perfect. Very cute! I can't stop looking at them :) They even have the artist stamp on them. Good quality.
