I love this stuff I've been using it for a long time now and I'm glad to see it in a larger bottle. I use it over regular foundation as well as powder foundation which I wear in the daytime. It gives your skin a fresh youthful appearance with no shimmer or glitter. It does give your make up good staying power. I prefer this particular brand over many others that I have tried. When you apply it dry it with a hairdryer on cold this stops it from sinking into powders too much and disturbing your make up. I have middle aged dull skin and as soon as I put this on I can see the difference. Great stuff.

I made the mistake of not shaking the bottle vigorously, and holding it too close, the first time I used it - felt like I’d used hairspray all over my face. I’ve got the 180ml dewy finish one and it just looked like shiny glue. I was very miffed and ready to give this the big thumbs down, as I’d put make up on especially, the full works. But I was very good and did it all again the next day, but properly this time. I shook and shook the bottle and held it well away. Result - a fine misty spray, which actually felt quite refreshing. It dried on contact and it did feel a little bit like a mask initially but I soon forgot about it, although it feels a bit odd on your eyelids. Oh and make sure your mascara is completely, 100% dry or it’ll clump and go gluey, trust me. But once on, every time I checked during the day, my make up was still in place, it didn’t settle into my laughter lines (ha! Who am I kidding, more like worry lines) quite so much. So, for once, I didn’t feel as if I needed to reapply concealer or blend in with my finger every time I caught sight of myself in a mirror. At nearly £24 for 180ml it’s not cheap and I wouldn’t use it every day, but for a night out (remember those?!) it’s great, and kind of reassuring. The dewy finish is a little shiny I’ll admit, so next time I’d go for the matte, bit more age appropriate for me.

I use a lot of make up. Primers, introduced a number of years ago, were a great game-changer as they improved both the finish and staying power of make up products. However, they weren't perfect. I still noticed distinct colour-fade as the day wore on and primers, even those designed for eyelid application, had very mixed results. In trying out NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray, there is nothing at all I changed in relation to my normal make up application regime. I firstly cleansed using micellar water, then applied serum, then moisturiser and finally a primer. I then applied foundation and a clear finishing product, bronzer and highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara followed by a wax-based brow product and setter. With all these products, the weather can play a part. If it's very hot or humid, the brow product especially can smudge, eyeshadow and liner are prone to transfer even in colder weather and so on. What has to me been most apparent is that colour fade, no matter how careful I was with application. So today I gave the NYX Setting Spray a go. Use 3-5 sprays - I'd say 3 sprays is enough - from a distance of around 15cm from your face. It will feel wet - rather more wet than I thought it would be. It takes 2-3 minutes to dry. When it did, my face didn't honestly look much different. But I am finding that my make up - both facial and around my eyes - appears to be the same intensity many hours later. 'Dewy' wasn't my first choice - I'd have preferred Matte - but Dewy looked okay. No glitter! I'll certainly be buying more as the setting effect seems to work and I think my skin looked better too. Good value given how many applications you can get, particularly from the maxi sized 180ml pack, I would highly recommend NYX Setting Spray. It's not too pricey to try different variations either. I can't wait to order a 60ml size of the Matte finish. How rarely does a real make-up game-changer come along? This is one for sure.

I’m really impressed with this setting spray. - The bottle is a great size and will last ages - The nozzle sprays a really fine mist that covers a large area so you only need a couple of pumps for your whole face - It dries in less than a minute and wasn’t sticky or oily. - It made my makeup look so much sleeker and left my face looking like it was glowing for ages. Overall I’m really happy with this setting spray and would definitely recommend it.

I was looking forward trying this as I’d heard great things about NYX setting sprays. However I was a tad disappointed. The spray has a very fine mist which is quite refreshing - scent wasn’t too overpowering. My makeup lasted well throughout the day. But the spray has a bronze tint and it also has a lot of shimmer in it. Definitely not something for everyday wear. Far too much shimmer.

You name it I’ve tried it when it comes to setting sprays, from all the ones over tried Nyx make the best, it feels light on the skin, sets makeup well for someone wanting to get 12 hours plus of wear.

This lasting spray for makeup it’s just amazing. I usually use this one when I finish my makeup and it’s working, it closes perfectly my pores and makes my face matte. I also love this one because it’s a big volume tube(180ml), I use this one for several months, and I love it because contain a vegan formula. Easy to use, just spray it after you finish making up and you will like this. Little bit expensive, but because you will use about one year it’s ok.

I'm 85 and even though I have wrinkles, I try to look the best I can. I noticed that my makeup was looking "madeup". Kind of dry and cakey, I'm not sure what but I wasn't happy with the look. My daughter recommended this and even ordered it for me. Well, she was right again. It goes on like squirting water on your face so you need to cover your eyes. It does sting your eyes a bit. But what a huge difference it makes with my makeup.
