Does what you expect and looks good. It was a bit bigger than I expected but that was okay with me.It's a minimal 15 min sand timer that reminds me to get out of my sauna before I die. The lighting is a bit low in my sauna and it can be a bit hard to see when the sand runs out but that's no fault of this product.

I bought this for my sauna a little less than a year ago. Here are the three critical issues.1. The time accuracy was always a bit suspect, but particularly after issue #2 arose.2. Over time, the sand began to clump together, get stuck at the ends and fail to drop to the bottom as designed.3. I generally stopped using the device for the reasons above, but I recently went to give it a shot and sand started leaking out. My suspicion is that the large swings in temperature (20s to 190s Fahrenheit) put too much stress on the thin glass in the middle.

It matches the aesthetic of our sauna perfectly. It makes it so much more dissapointing that it clogs occasionally. We have been able tobuse it still by tapping the glass periodically to avoid the clogs.

I purchased this to put in my parent's sauna since they had no tell of time in there. It works perfectly every time and goes with the theme of the sauna. Very easy to put on the wall and time is very accurate

Sauna Hourglass Sand Timer 15 Minute: Wood White Sand Clock.I tried two samples. the first one stopped working after the first trial. The replacement worked for about 3 weeks and then sand stopped flowing and it got stuck randomly after a few minutes. Banging on the vial sometimes would re-start the flow only to get stuck agin soon after.It's a pity, since the design is elegant in it's simplicity. My guess is that the defect is in quality control and sifting to assure the uniformity of the sand grains.

What can you say about something so simple. It works and that's all you can expect. nothing magical about this timer. What you see is what you get.
