Very nice pen, highly recommend it
This is an awesome pen—I actually have three of them! I love that with a small mod, you can use ink refills from other pens, not just the Everyman ones. I personally prefer Sharpie S-Gel ink, and with a slight trim to the refill, it fits perfectly. The pen itself feels super solid and durable. The matte finish looks great and has held up really well—no scratches or fading, even on the two I've had for over two years. The only downside is the price—at around $50 each, it’s definitely a splurge for a pen. But if you’re into quality writing tools that last and feel great in the hand, it’s worth it.

Wow! This Grafton pen is a game-changer!
I recently snagged a gunmetal Grafton everyday pen on Amazon, and let me tell you, it's exceeded every expectation. This pen has become my go-to for everything from journaling to note-taking, and it just feels amazing in my hand. There was a tiny hitch on the first day - a bit of ink smudging. But that cleared up completely, and now the ink flows flawlessly. It dries super fast, so no more pesky ink blots on my hands. The thickness is perfect, leaving a bold line that doesn't bleed through my journal paper at all. Plus, the tip glides effortlessly across any paper I throw at it.Seriously, this pen is a joy to use. It's comfortable, smooth, and writes beautifully. If you're searching for a top-notch everyday pen, look no further than the Grafton! You won't regret it.

Update
There is much to love about this pen. The brass is beautiful. The grip diameter is 0.420" which I think is perfect. The machined grooves in the grip make it easy to hold onto. It is VERY heavy at 1.8 oz, which makes it easy to write with. The clip is well made and durable. But there are some bad things too. The twist mechanism is stiff. There was substantial clearance between refill and body when the refill was extended, causing unacceptable amount of wobble. I felt it anytime I wrote. There was far more clearance than in other pens I own. I'd hoped it was just a problem with the Grafton brand refill, which is styled like a Parker G2. When I replaced it with an actual Parker, or Faber Castell refill, it was a disaster. Neither would fit into the twist mechanism. They must have been a few thousandths too big. That was a deal breaker for me. I returned the pen (thank you, Amazon, for your amazing return policy) and have a 2nd pen coming tomorrow. I deeply hope that the first pen was a quality control anomaly, and that the tip wobble and refill interference will be solved. If so, my rating will go from a 2 to a 5. Stand by for an update in the next day or so. But tonight, I'm deeply disappointed.--- update ---Amazon replaced the first pen and it is somewhat better. There is less clearance between pen tip and refill, and that helps quite a bit. The problem with the Parker refill sadly still remains. A standard Parker refill will not fit into the twist mechanism. I took one of my Parker refills and filed and sanded its non-tip end down about 0.005" and it works perfectly. I hope Everyman can fix this tolerance problem, because it is otherwise an excellent pen. Because the tip wobble on this pen is so much better, I've upgraded the review from 2 to 4 stars.

FALSE ADVERTISING: An Unfortunate "So Close to Great"
This pen claims to take Jetstream Refills, but this is not true without modification.I bought this pen solely for its ability to take Uni-Ball Jetstream refills, and I'm frustrated there isn't a better option out there at this price range. The pro's and con's match up very well with other Amazon reviews, with only a few things to add:CONS:-Pen's click mechanism rattles when tip is retracted (but not when extended)-Expected Problems: I fully expect to have issues with the plastic parts in the click mechanism at some point in the pen's lifetime-Needs modification to take Jetstream refills* (see note below)-There is "tip wiggle"; unavoidable in a design that takes multiple types of refills (unless you're a BigiDesign Ti Pen)-Metal scratching sound when using the clicker; clicker button feels wobbly and fragile (see: Expected Problems)PROS:-Looks good, feels sturdy, I'm not ashamed to hand it to someone-Takes Jetstream refills* (see note below)-I don't expect to have to replace the whole pen-Comes with extra pieces to assist in taking multiple types of refills-Customer Service has a good reputation, which is good since I expect to have to use them at least once to address the expected problems listed aboveNOTE about using Jetstream Refills: Using SXR-38 refills (or SXR-5, -7, -10), the tip STILL EXTENDS OUT OF THE NOSE WITH THE PEN RETRACTED. With the pen retracted, I can still draw with the pen perfectly vertical, which means it can still color the inside of my pocket. I had to cut off a small portion of the back of the refill to shorten it enough to solve this problem.SO MUCH FOR TAKING JETSTREAM REFILLS; FALSE ADVERTISING. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO ALTER REFILLS FOR THEM TO WORK I THIS PEN AS THE MANUFACTURER CLAIMS THEY DO.
