I have used similar containers for years when cooking large batches of casseroles, stews and stuff like that, put your cooking into them, label and freeze. This size will hold 2 portions and stack very nicely in your deep freezer. Once the top is on and sealed in and frozen, I used to take a frozen one out in the morning stick it in my oven set my timer so by the time I got home it was already heating up and it gave me about half an hour before it was time to ear. The bottom aluminum part is washable and reusable, but the top lid is not as it is cardboard with a tinfoil side for the inside of it. Make sure when you order to check whether you were ordering the cardboard side which is cookable or the clear plastic one that Has to be removed before cooking. Have been using these for years and it’s nice to see that Amazon has them instead of looking all over town to find a wholesaler that will allow a member of the public to purchase from their business.

These are great for leftovers. We have a small 12v travel “oven” that looks like a lunch box. These fit inside perfectly. We can store leftovers in them, and they stack nicely in the freezer. Straight from freezer to baking or to our little 12v oven if on the go.

These are excellent. They are very strong and can be used many times or thrown away. Lovely loaf sized tins that can be used for 2 meal portions for a family of 2.Just the right size and cook very well. They are so nice if I do nto want to wash up and great to reuse as well.
