These charcoal bags are a lifesaver for all kinds of odors
I bought these charcoal bags on a whim, but man, I'm glad I did. They've been a game-changer for odors all over the house and beyond. A couple weeks ago I had a crazy workload and didn't have time to do dishes for like 3 days straight. Usually if I leave the dishes that long, the kitchen started to smell pretty funky. But I remembered I had these charcoal bags, so I tossed a couple near the sink. It kept the kitchen smelling fresh for the whole 3 days until I could finally get to the dishes. I also tossed a few of these things in a rental car that reeked of cigarette smoke. I spread them around the car and after a day or so, the smoke smell was way less noticeable. When I got home, I realized the entryway was starting to smell like a locker room thanks to my kid's sports gear and the dog. I put a couple of these charcoal bags in the coat closet and it made a big difference. I originally got these for my kid's shoes, but I've ended up using them all over. They're way more versatile than I expected. The bags are a decent size and you get 12 in a pack, so you can spread them out. They seem to last a while too. Anyway, these things do what they're supposed to do. If you've got some smells you need to get rid of, they're worth a shot.

Small, but Mighty Odor Controlling Pouches
Buy these, you won't be sorry. I traded up my diaper genie for a stylish Ubbi diaper pail, but had serious regrets when the stench reached new levels (and not in a good way)! I loved that the Ubbi allows any trash bag to be used, but let me say regular trash bags, even with Febreeze scent, didn't help with the odor at all! Every time I opened the pail to add a new diaper and especially when it was full and time to empty, the odor that seeped out was so strong it filled the room and seemed to hang there for 15-20 mins. My husband found it unbearable and was begging to go back to the old genie that contained the smell a lot better, but after spending so much on the Ubbi, I decided to try these little pouches to see if they can save the day...and let me say, YES, they work wonders! I would highly, highly recommend giving these a try. I have two in my pail now, one on the bottom, the other taped to the lid, and they started working immediately. No more complaints, blaming the dog for the fart smell in the nursery or false sniffs thinking the baby pooped again. I can't wait to try them out on a stinky pair of sneakers next.

We’re still using them
I like these and the cost is great, but I use two in our diaper genie (have to finagle and shove them in, but you can do it). I don’t know, maybe there’s no masking poop. It still smells occasionally, but I think it’s more of a problem with the diaper genie design. These work better than the diaper genie filters, but I don’t like how often you’re supposed to switch them out. I wish they lasted longer, without having to leave them in the sun to rejuvenate them to get longer use like the instructions said.

so far so good...
I finally opened them and put them in the kids room - i bought these mainly for the stinky stinky diaper pail... i put 1 in the diaper pail slot (under the lid) and 1 on the window in the kids room.. i believe it has helped stench from the diaper pail a lot.. but i want to see how it holds up in a few more days, when the diaper pail is getting more full - currently have only 1 toddler in diaper and usually only 2 or 3 diapers in it a day.. i am planning on also giving these a try in the kitchen (under the sink cabinet and trash can drawer...) will try to come back and update.

Glad I took a chance on these
I have used these for a week so far, and they are great. I put one in the bottom of the small trash can I use for my son's diapers. I can tell a big difference! His dirty diapers used to stink up the room. Now the odor is neutralized in minutes! I placed one near our bathroom toilet and in the kitchen trashcan, as well. I saw on the instructions that you can "recharge them" after two weeks by placing them in direct sunlight for 2-3 hours and possibly get another couple weeks or so out of them. I will try that when the time comes. I am very pleased to have tried these and recommend them to anyone. Update: I don't think the sunlight recharge worked that well, but they work so well the first time around that I don't mind re-ordering ever so often.

Mom purchased and dad approved!
These work wonders! If your having the open the diaper pail and then huge stinky scent comes pour out this fixes that! We have been using for a week or so and have noticed huge difference even if at 15 days when we try and re-energize them if that doesn’t work we would just use a brand new one and replace every 15 days and pay for new ones when needed as it’s totally worth it so solve a problem that we lived with with our first LO the whole time and now on #2 have finally fix this stinky problem at almost 2 years old but I guess better now than never! Highly recommend! Even dad said these are the best thing you have purchased that I didn’t know existed! Give it 6 stars!

" Which explained a lot because my older genie smelled like a bag of rotten eggs
I was building a new diaper genie for a new child when I realized, "oh boy I didn't even realize there was a filter on this thing." Which explained a lot because my older genie smelled like a bag of rotten eggs, left in the trunk of a 1970s car that was parked in a mall parking lot in a July Texas. That is to say, bad. I ordered these because they were affordable and I figured why not? Within maybe a day the filter got rid of the awful smell of a 2 year old genie that has been used on a constant basis. That is a religious miracle as far as I am concerned. I would rate this item higher than 5 stars if it were possible. It improved my family's life and preserved our nostrils.

Freshness Restored!!
I love these carbon filters!! They shipped very quickly and I was happy to receive them. I bought them to use in my diaper pail. The little satchet fits great in the lid. The old filter was way past its prime. Every time I opened the lid I was hit with the stinky odors!! I took the old filter out and replaced it with one of these. Freshness restored!! I love the bag it came in and that instructions were included for use and reuse of up to 3 months!! This is a great product.
