This is a large spool of high quality stainless locking wire. I will probably never use all of it but it was considerably less expensive than all the alternatives. It’s onboard in my locker and I won’t have to fret when I need to cease a shackle.

Have not gotten to use but seems durable for snares and rigging shelters in the wild. Great for bugging out!!!

This wire is used for locking hardware on aircraft. The dispenser is especially nice, since if the wire end accidentally goes back in the container, it is easy to unscrew the top to retrieve it. I would purchase this item again from the seller.

I use this wire for all kinds of purposes, but I rely on it to secure all of my mooring shackles. This feels like a thicker diameter wire than my last batch, but I checked both labels and it's the same. You may think it's costly if you don't use it in the intended professional application, but you will soon forget what you paid. My last spool of safety wire lasted over 5 years. It's always there, and always there when you need it.

Wire works great in salt water. Spools out easily and twists nicely.

I used to use this stuff in aircraft maintenance, but now I use it for rigging for my work - and my wife uses it for crafts. The wire is sturdy, yet pliable, and effective for a wide variety of uses other than as just safety wire. Make no mistake about it - this is a VERY useful thing to have.
