Small, affordable and works well.
Don’t normally write reviews but ended up reading lots before buying this.It is great. It is very light, and easy to maneuver. Cuts the grass well and I line that the grass is distributed as fine cuttings.I have yet to add the spacers as happy with the length as is but I found it easy enough on my last flymo. Just use a tea towel and some gloves and brute force. Installation v easy although the instructions are poorly drawn and not very clear.Small, nippy and effective. Plus very reasonable.

Pretty good mower, but.....
Good value for its price, and it cuts and maneuvers well, but it's probably fair to say it's a cheap mower. The shortest cut is not too close, although increasing the cut length is a bit clunky, and it's a nice light mower. It''ll do. The design of the handle is poor, requiring the ends that join the mower to be squeezed together to flatten or fully raise the handle - very fiddly and not easy to accomplish from a standing position

Surprisingly good mower
I used Flymo as a teenager doing my parents lawn. I remember that being hard work. Although my new garden is small, maybe 30 square metres, the Flymo was simple to use and done a great job. It was simple to assemble. It is a reasonably good quality product. Easy to adjust height with the spacers. The lead was long enough to reach the end of my garden, 10M long. Its not loud and hovers wellon a flat lawn. So far, great lawn mower for a small garden and great value for money at the discounted price. Recommended all round.

Mulching functionality not good. Leaves a mess.
Yeah, it worked fine. It's nice, light, and manoeuvrable. Problem is, it doesn't mulch very well. It just leaves a mess on the lawn. The lawn just looked kind of scrappy afterwards, so I sent back.

Brand New, original packaging delivery was great ! on time, Courier service was also great
It's a neat little Hover Mower, ideal for short grass ( lawns ) longer grass would require a more powerful electric motor. Its very easy to handle, lightweight, decent cable length , has a metal blade for durability ideal for small garden and will help keep the length of your grass under control without much effort

OK, but weighty for it's size and handle fixing suspect.
I had a much older version of this which I gave away. Which is sad as I feel it was a lighter, more agile and thus easier mower to handle.I have come back to the brand as the metal blade is far superior to the plastic bladed versions, even those by the same manufacturer. It has enough power for a small lawn area and grass that isnt overly high. Having said that, there is adjust ment on the blade height to give a higher/lower cut height. When running this is relatively manueverable, but it does need more upper body and arm movement than the lighter, older versions. So arguably weight is a hinderance to this machine being for everyone.Build quality seems sound, though I question the longevity of the fixing method for the metal handle. Each side of the handle fixes to the mower body by what seems to be a plastic plug that pushes through the handle and into the base unit. Mine have popped out repeatedly on moving the mower sideways as part of the action of mowing. The flex seems plenty long enough, but then each garden is different. So do expect at some point to need an extension lead. There is no provision for the storeage of clippings with this mower. It mulches well with dry grass, but do expect longer and or wet grass to ball up and look a tad messy. The obvious answer is to keep the lawn short and mow when dry.

Not worth the money
First, it’s very easy to assemble and all parts seem well made. It’s a cinch to store. Not to keen on the plastic studs that snap into the bottom of the mower, still time will tell.I have now used this mower and find it does not cut well and takes several passes for a good cut.Nose of the machine digs into the ground on uneven lawns. Hovering ?… no a chance in hell But its light enough to carry which for this OAP is a bonus.Cable far to short for my average garden so have to use my extension reel.To many faults to recommend it to you.As already mentioned by other reviewers, cut grass gathers around air intake and gets inside the mower.I have glued a nylon screen across the air intake. Grass still get sucked over the intake but does not get sucked in. I will be selling this on'. I am really pleased to say that that this mower has now been sold on.I suggest that Flymo employ designers who can make a decent lawn mower rather then just knock one out and charge the earth. My new mower is not a plastic Flymo…
