Great for dialysis patients.

Nephro Butter Pecan is recommended for patients on dialysis and it has an outstanding in every way - not a medicinal taste at all.It's so good, in fact, that it is difficult to drink only one.The only thing I did not like was the $11.00 shipping charge which is missing from the screen until the last page.That is very misleading. It is stated to be $68.00. You order it and all of a sudden the $11.00 charge pops up.It would be more business-like to state the shipping charges the first time the price for Nephro is stated insteadof leaving it off until the final payment page. Nephro is recommended highly by all medical personnnel who treatpatients on dialysis because it contains replaces much protein which is removed from the body during kidney dialysis.

I bought this for my mother who has stage 3-4 renal failure and is not a canidate for dialyasis. In the hospital it was recommed for her nutritional needs and she readily drinks the butter pecan flavor. Some of the vendors charge way too much for it so I buy a months supply at one time (1 per day). Although, I have foun two vendors that are reasonable and offer free shipping.

my husband who is a diabetic, high blood pressure, cholesterol, had a renal failure last year. then while in the hospital, found out that he needs to have a triple by pass.. now he is on dialysis.. the dr prescfribes nepro products at the rehab. he definitely likes the butter pecan flavor. so i hope this nepro products will not be so expensive as years go by. is there any coupon or promotion for this products??? anyway.. so far it is helping his carbohydrates intake... thank you..

Good stuff! Had been introduced to this product in the hospital. Tastes pretty darn good. Helps me when I’m in need of some kidney therapy stuff!People have told me that it will put weight on me. I don’t care about that anymore because I have lost 70 pounds with the cancer.Give it a try. All the flavors are good.

I wish I didn’t need these shakes but, it is what it is. I have tried other brands but I think the Nepro Butter Pecan is the best tasting one I’ve tried. If I have to drunk them I might as well drink the one that tastes the best.

Product is great, it’s what my dad needs to up his protein intake & dialysis patient friendly. But the price is outrageous! My dad can’t afford to order this so we do periodically for him. The dialysis center dietician gave me a form so I can now order this for almost half price!!

I love having these in the fridge as an option for meal replacement or even just a little extra protein with my meal. I am on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant and making sure I get enough protein in the day is crucial so these make it that much easier to make it to my daily goal. I recommend putting it on ice and letting it melt a little as they are very thick, but that is just my personal preference.
