I bought this to replace the laser in my Sega CD Model 2. It worked like a champ and was easy to install. Just make sure you have the correct Sega CD model for this laser. Sega CD model 2 uses 3 different types. White ribbon = this one :).Great laser!

This is a perfect replacement for the Optima-6 laser that was in my model 2 saturn (round button). I did not have to adjust it or anything, just make sure to heat the solder blob for the anti static measure or it won't work.
