These are excellent. I bought two that i use for my homemade sangria. Keeps it incredibly cold. I love them.

I would have loved to give this a good review, because it seems like a good price for a product that's typically twice as much, but when I was taking it out of the package, the cheap weld on the handle snapped right off in my hand. This is just poor quality control, and it should have been tested a bit better before being released to sell. Otherwise, it appears to be a decent, functional product, in spite of the rough finish. I'm returning it, and plan on spending the extra money on a Kleen Kanteen version. They cost a lot more, but I know the quality and I'm willing to pay for it.

Looks like a really nice growler except the threads on the cap really suck. Does not thread very easily I think there's something wrong with the design.

So far works like a charm! Will update only if something should go awry..........!

We purchased this to use as a water bottle for work in a warehouse, as all the plastic types kept breaking or leaking and we wanted a more durable product. This growler definitely delivers. It keeps water cold for hours, even the next day there is still ice left from the night before. It seals tight with absolutely no leaking, and holds a large amount, which means we need fewer fills at work. I love that it's dishwasher safe, but after only a month, the the flat plastic disc that covers the top of the lid popped off and could not be reset. This did not affect the function, only the aesthetics. I contacted Barnster to see if I could purchase another lid. They wrote back immediately and offered me a whole new unit (bottle with lid.) We were so pleased with this amazing customer service. I don't know if putting the lid in the dishwasher made the disc pop off, so I usually hand wash the new lid now, but still put the bottle in the dishwasher. Highly recommend.

This thing is solid! To many's surprise, I actually use this as a gym water bottle. I'm just so curious why so many hardcore gym addicts carry around a PLASTIC half gallon or gallon bottle and claims to be "healthy". Doesn't anyone know that there are certain grades of plastics that just should not be reused more than a few times? What's eating healthy and working out for, when you are using a plastic bottle that can potentially get you cancer?With this stainless steel bottle, problem solved. Put my half gallon in there with my favorite flavor of BCAA, two of these a day, you're good to go!
