I’ve been using Shifa vanilla whey protein three times a week after my workouts, and it has quickly become a staple in my routine. The taste is smooth and pleasant—not overly sweet—and it mixes easily without clumps. I appreciate Shiffa for providing halal protein powder. But they have added sugar, which is very bad. At first when I bought it, there was not added sugar. Thats why, at the 2nd time, I placed the order, and then I found the added sugar. The sugar is very bad.

We love this for the high protein content and making protein pancakes. It’s mixes well and even our kids love it! It’s very tasty and we also love it in yogurt.

I use protein fairly often as a post workout drink. This protein powder mixes pretty well, at least from the method that I make it, which is with ice and water pulverized in my ninja blender. It makes for a fairly decent shake, that is tasty and more or less on par with the typical vanilla flavor that you'd come to expect from protein powders. It goes down pretty easy, and doesn't disagree with me in any which way shape or form. You may be wondering to yourself at this point, why the two star review then? The two star review is because I found that they operate with a little bit of deception. I normally would target whey protein isolate as my main ingredient for my protein powders. While you will see advertised on the canister itself that it does include whey protein isolate, by the way they list it it would lead one to believe that, it would be the main protein component. The truth is, if you look at the ingredients, whey protein isolate is far out ratioed by whey protein concentrate. Now, whey protein concentrate is not my preferred choice, nor should it be as expensive as whey protein isolate. If you look at how this protein is priced, it is as though the concentrate is being put on par with the isolate. I thought that was a bit of deception, and something that I personally didn't appreciate. From that perspective, and for my money, I think I'd probably look elsewhere. While it is a decent post workout shake, I don't like the underhandedness of the marketing, as well as the overpricing of what amounts to a majority whey protein concentrate product.

Great quality product! Tastes great and dissolves quickly in water. Used it after my workout and it did not upset my stomach like some other protein products do. Recommend!

Shifaa adds that each serving contains 460mg of added Glutamine, 767mg of leucine for protein biosynthesis and absorption. The makers suggest the use of this nutritional aid as a post-workout supplement to boost recovery. Also, to add to protein intake, the substance can be used in shakes, smoothies, pancakes, etc. The product is made in the USA under GMP quality standards within an FDA-registered facility. It is nut free, egg free, keto-friendly, non-gmo, halal certified. Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, egg, fish, or shellfish ingredients. Free from fillers, preservatives, artificial ingredients.All fine and good, but I’ve got some complaints. The product isn’t easily mixed into a drink with just a spoon. And then I’ve got one additional big complaint. The product’s directions state that a scoop containing 43 grams of the substance should be used per serving. You might have a scoop around, I might have in the past, but don’t now. And how on earth are we to tell if a scoop contains 43 grams? Sorry, but I don’t even remember how much a gram is in American weights. If this exact amount is required, WHY DOESN’T SHIFAA INCLUDE THE SCOOP IN EVERY BOTTLE? It probably wouldn’t add more than 2 cents to the cost.

This protein works well when mixed with berries in a blender and you get a rich creamy taste. I have been using this for 6 months now and it has worked well for me.
