After 3 decades this stopped my propane for heating!
No assembly required btw This is a A+++ ccu unit I call it . Climate control unit. Because In a few minutes you can easily go from heating to air conditioning back to heating in moments again . Isn’t new technology as a kid I lived with a heat pump but that was thousands included in house payments . So this absolutely makes a home of recommendation 350 sq feet totally comfortable in moments. I’ve been looking for anything but propane to heat and going back to the grid isn’t in my plans ever so this fit the situation. Only using 1280 watts of continuous usage is outstanding! Not running heat side from Solar today and don’t foresee it but works fantastically with my 1600 watt generator. Saved propane most likely will cover extra fuel used for generation but no electric bills is my main goal . Not going un noticed btw Last visit from them three days ago rechecked the line They don’t understand the outstanding efficiency of this new found treasure , I dreamed about turning this sorta air conditioner around as a kid so seeing it happen I had to save the under 500$ and buy it and so glad I did wow . I have a situation going on here whereas my neighbors have been really polluting my air so with propane had to have ventilation and loss efficiency and never was a fan of the gas fumes . Again with this new ccu I don’t have to do it’s recycling air saved us from the ongoing air assault's. So win win win Another good discovery this air conditioning side uses 575 watts same as the unit I replaced but this is 50% higher cooling capacity yet uses same wattage so was delighted it runs off my Solar in perfect conditions while suns out between 11/4 most of the year in Florida off the grid btw! Why they are not happy lol But nothing but good things so far One noteworthy issue I learned with using a parallel system with Solar was that the wires must be a sizable distance between power sources because just the magnetic sine waves can Interrupt the generator and cause a glitch which a kilowatt meter picked up with flashing screen indicating a issue with power source so keep in mind to use conduit and properly space opposing power supplies . So to review ac side uses 575 watts Easy to run off the sun in perfect conditions 1280 heat pump side that I don’t see Solar powering overnight unless you’ve built a massive battery bank see a electrician or get a backup generator as I wrote about in my book Solar Independent Utility Systems Manual So conclusion far better than burning anything for heat only thing that would beat this is a properly sized radiant heating system that uses the suns heat alongside its photovoltaic advantages. My next goal with geothermal alongside to replace this but until that dream happens This is my answer for the foreseeable future Can’t say enough about this outstanding ccu No more propane tanks running out No more feeding wood fires Now just time the generator usually five to eight hours depending on your temp setting. Set it to max 86 Max cool 61 makes working much harder far safer Thank you LG You hit this one out of the park Pure awesomeness Quietness a BONUS !!!!

Works Year-Round
I love having one unit that does both heating and cooling. The AC cools efficiently and the heat warms the room faster than expected. It’s perfect for bedrooms or small living spaces. Controls are easy to use and the remote is a nice bonus. Very happy with this purchase.

Don’t buy LG
AC worked for 2 months in 2024. Turned on in June 2025; no cool air, no error code. Called LG and told unit under warranty; would send repairman in 2 - 3 weeks. Nothing. Called many more times and finally told no repairman in my area & could I find one. I already had called every repairman within 60 mile radius. I called many more times. Now offered a replacement after complaining to escalation team. I had to complete form on portal link asking for same info provided earlier. I provided receipt, sticker on AC unit, picture of unit etc. Told to be contacted by transportation team in about a week. Called many more times: told to wait 2 -3 weeks. Nothing. Called again, filed complaint with LG. Finally spoke to Alexis on Presidential team. She said AG out of stock and offered reimbursement. I completed form on portal link again agreeing to direct deposit reimbursement. I was told would receive secure link in 2-3 days. Nothing. Three weeks later received text saying to complete form on portal link again as I had done before; no explanation why or indication of error on my part. Called LG and not allowed to talk to Alexis on Presidential Team. Told I’d received text in 2 days with explanation and resolution of problem. Two days later I got a survey to rate how well problem was solved. Problem was not solved. I called LG, said all they could do was send escalation e-mail to escalation team. I called again and told the same thing. Three months later and many phone calls = no repair, no replacement, no refund, no explanation!!

Easy to Use, perfect for cooling or heating and works on regular household 120 current.
I own Tecopa Palms Thermoplastic Hot Springs Resort located on the Southern edge of the "very hot" and sometimes "cold" Mojave desert. I bought 2 of these ac/ heater units - 2 years ago and installed 1 in each of 2 cabins. Perfect. From cold to hot they are the real deal. The control panel is easy to understand and easy to press this button for heat, or press this button for cold, and this button up or down for temperature. These units do not take a " senior electronics engineer" to figure out how to work the panel. I recently ( this review) ordered a 3rd unit. I installed it in a sea train renovation that we rent out.

LG Window ac
The unit was packaged and delivered great. The mounting was a little different from my old unit but straight forward and smooth. So far it works great. We use it in our bedroom and the compressor is a tad loud but acceptable. Overall a great unit.

Heating AND cooling in the same unit - wonderful
I got this to replace the Vornado space / small room heater. This unit has not only a heater built-in but also air conditioning! It makes a wonderful addition to the mancave shed. It is very energy efficient, and it didn't significantly increase our electric bill. It fit in a semi-narrow single-pane glass window. We had to get a special mount for it so that it could be bolted into the windowsill, but regardless, we love it. We have it on auto all the time, and we've been satisfied. It does the job.

Window unit
Works great but is extremely heavy. We had to change the plug in the wall.
