HIVIZ Walther P22 Frnt Sight Intrchg, Green,White,Red

Bought this as a replacement front sight for my Walther P22 and it works great. Easy to install.

After losing the medium range sight on my p22, I relentlessly searched the web for a factory replacement. No luck. I was tired of having to compensate my elevation while using the long range sight, so I ordered these. These sights are awesome! Easy target acquisition, fast installation, and looks great. The factory Walther p22 front sights simply pop on and off with no tools whatsoever. These have a set screw that keeps the sight in place. A little drop of blue loctite ensures that it won't back out. Also, the sight doesn't interfere with holstering at all. These should be a standard feature on the p22. Definitely worth it. Update: 3/23/18 Sights are still working great! I have lost 1 fiber optic bar, but this set came with plenty of replacements. The sight does have wear on it, but it is minimal and less than I expected, especially considering the amount of time I have had it and the amount of use and abuse it has seen. I would recommend this sight to anybody!! Buy it!

This is a fantastic kit. Installation is simple and it comes with a Hex Key/Allen Wrench so you don’t have to go find one. I bought this for a Walther P22 but ended up putting it on a PPQ. The package states it will fit the P99 series as well. Mine came with the red fiber installed but in the kit is a selection of colors including yellow, white , and green. The kit comes with a small tool to help swap out the different fibers and a handy drum style container in which to keep all. The visibility of the fiber optic is superb. I have ordered two front sights from HiViz for this series of pistol and this model is the way to go. Terrific value for the money! -Bill W.

I have not shot the pistol with it yet, so I might come back and modify this review. The new front sight is highly visible, does exactly what it's supposed to by drawing the eye's focus to it. I think it'll work well on the range. With that said, I have to question the design choice somebody made. The P22 comes with interchangeable front sight inserts that snap in and out, no problem. So why not design the aftermarket sight to do the same thing? Instead, it comes with a tiny, EASILY DROPPED AND LOST (ask me how I know), allen head screw that, once located again, has to be carefully, painstakingly fiddled into place. Who thought this was a good idea? Is that person still making decisions that affect other people, people with brains that work?

My sights came about 4 days before the expected delivery day which was a pleasant surprise! Installation was very simple as stated in previous reviews. I did not currently own any thread locking substances so I went without that. Hopefully that will not be an issue but I can always add that later. These are quality fiberoptic sights. Simple as that. Why this product deserves 5 stars is more than just the sights (however they alone are worthy of that). Also included is a small carrying pack for the spare (and other color) fiber sticks. I received 3 red, 1 white and 2 green spare sticks for the sights and they are very very easy to install. The included key allows you to slide out the installed one and insert the new one. The only issue I had with this sight was that the included allen wrench was too big to tighten the small screw within my slide with the guide rod support where it is. It is really not a big deal at all, just takes some concentration to start the screw and tighten it! Overall these sights are probably the best addition to my p22 that I have bought from amazon and I have bought fake suppressors, thread adapters and holsters. Your factory p22 sights will fall out eventually, these are the best value for their replacement. End of story.

nice sight .looks good .it was a pain to get the little screw started .i stuck the screw in the slot then put the sight up to it and tightened it .i rung the end of allen wrench off tightening it lol. but i nice set up .a nice improvement

Excellent upgrade for the Walther P22Q. It takes some patience getting the sight mounted, but it will eventually get fit into the slide. That is one-ass tiny screw. I found the by taping the sight to the slide helped free some fingers and get the screw into the back of the sight much easier to accomplish. I chose green. Comes with 2 reds, 2 greens and a white. Along with a small holder for the extras. Nice add-on. Again, improves ypur sighting with the Walther P22Q 100+% !
