Dramm12380 Heavy-Duty Brass Adjustable Hose Nozzle

Beautiful USA MADE .....Unfortunately things aren't made like they used to be....and there is a reason for that....one being LEAD. We don't use it in paints anymore why in brass? Spraying from a nozzle that is basically coating your soil and plants in lead.Maybe small amounts but why even bother when you can purchase other hose ends that don't spew toxins into the soil you're growing from.Very disappointing nothing was mentioned in the description.I'm sad more so at the fact this is not replicated in stainless... the nozzle itself is gorgeous.....heirloom quality for sure....only if it's sitting on your mantle as a decoration and not in use....

i read that brass nozzles are the best quality cuz they dont have plastic components that might eventually break down and start leaking, which is true, this feels very heavy duty and solid, easy to install, however, the tiny flaw is with the design by nature. because of the lack of plastic, you cannot have a "memory mode", as in you cant choose a mode first, then turn it on, you have to go through all the modes every time. its like those bad flashlights that you click to turn on, and it goes low, med, high, turbo, strobe, off, you always have to start on low, and you always have to go through strobe before turning it off. in this case, you always have to start on a spray before you can get to jet.

Leaks due to washer (and yes I tightened it then I tightened it some more with a wrench...etc. ) Swapped out the washer for the o-ring out of my old hose and it works fine. Could it be my hose... sure. Should it matter...no. Could they source a better washer for $0.01 ... definitely. At the end of the day, the product works very well.

Haven't used this nozzle all summer just used the sprinkler, Came to use it today to wash my summer tires before I put them away for winter and it was on two minutes and it blew the O rings out of the front, Luckily I saw where they went, Picked them up getting soaked in the process because the nozzle would not shut off now. Turned the water off and took the nozzle apart and refitted the O rings, turned the water back on and opened the nozzle a quarter turn and both O rings blew off.Something very strange here because we only have 28pound water pressure here, Looked at the O rings and they are both nicked and loose in the groove they sit in.The nozzle looks great but buy at your own risk. Of course amazon give no warranty after a month, they are not interested.

Tired of repeatedly buying expensive plastic nozzles that broke after a season or two, I took a chance and bought this. Should have done this many years ago! Awesome sturdy quality, this is a pleasure to use. Yes, it does not have as many 'modes' that gun-shaped plastic nozzles do (rain, cone, soak, drizzle, etc.) but who cares. You still have plenty of control over the flow, from a thin powerful jet, to a wide cone, and everything in between. And that's enough for 90% of my needs. No more leaky, broken, plastic, gun-shaped nozzles for me!
