These work really well, get pretty hot. I used with a controller I had with another grip heater kit. They take a little time to heat up, but I don't think any longer than the panel heaters. pretty easy install.

Works great on my xb9s
I got these warmers for my 2003 Buell xb9s.It took me just over an hour to fully install them. I tapped into the red striped wire on the headlight harness for the switched power and glued the switch on the top right of my instrument cluster.Installation was very straightforward, no problems whatsoever. The only hiccup was drilling into the handlebars, it was a lot harder than I expected to get my drill started. These warmers get super hot on my bike! I wore my summer mesh gloves in 40 degree weather and was almost too hot. I can't wait for colder temperatures to really test these.

Need a different switch for ATV's
These are great little units. But, the switch protrudes out far and is not the most durable (plastic) thing in the world. If you put these on a snowmobile put the switch in an easily accessible place but, behind windshield where things won't snag it and break it. I put these on an atv no real good place to put switch limbs and debris hit switch and break it. I'd like to see manufacturer offer a less protruding more durable switch for atv's. If your careful it's a great product.

Good element for running a twist throttle
Gave these a 4 for price and seem to be decent elements the switch however is cheap plastic so I replaced it with a water tight metal one. I also had to open up my handlebar with a 5/8" drill bit not a big deal for me just a heads up

May or may not work on your bike
My bike, and many others have bar end caps that are welded into the handlebars. Why risk it? just buy the sticker type that adheres OVER the handlebar, and under your grip. The sticker kind would probably heat up faster anyways.

Love warm hands when plowing with the atv
I bought the polly heaters for my 2002 yamaha grizzly when I plow my driveway. I live in Ohio and the weather was very cold this year. The polly heaters worked great and kept my hands toasty on high with lite weight gloves. Install was easy for me and I did not need a controller to lower the heat. I will buy again when I need too.

great-simple-effective-inexpensive
already installed these on my dual-sport 4 years ago and they have been working great. Now i am putting some on my street bike. I really like the fact that they are inside the bars and the wiring runs through the bars, Makes for a clean install and the wire is not hanging out of the throttle and being twisted back and forth with the throttle all the time (I've had trouble with the wire to heat grid connection breaking with the ones in the grips) Plus, you can use any grip you like and can change them any time you want without disturbing the heaters inside the bars.

HOT
They get very hot! They also do not work with aluminum handle bars.
