HP 15-F233WM 15-F272WM LCD Screen Replacement for 15.6" New LED Display 30 Pin

I’ve had this laptop sitting in my closet for years with a broken screen. 😮 I was in need of a new one. I was ready to just give it up and sell it as is for dirt cheap or throw it away. I did my research and picked this one because I saw they had a lot of good reviews. Now I know why! Not only did the package arrive 2 days early, it saved me from spending over $500 buying a new one and the matte quality was better than the original! lol Did some youtube tutorials, install was easier than I expected and now it’s as if I have a brand new laptop! I’m so excited. lol Thank you!!

The first step of fixing my laptop screen was ensuring I bought the right screen, so I took the old one out and asked the seller using the model numbers on the old screen. The seller was very responsive in responding to my question about that. Once the new screen arrived it was very easy to install, using instructions I found on YouTube, and it looks as good as the original.

Got the screen early which is a plus. It was very well wrapped and safe in the box and worked like a charm after installing it. Only bad thing is the top right metal piece was bent and since it was safely wrapped i can only assume they shipped it like that which sucks but i bent it back and had no issues.

This was probably the easiest repair I have ever done on an electronic device. The hardest part was getting the bezel fully snapped in place but it went ok in the end.It was just as advertised with the 30 pin connector. Easy to remove and reinstall.The other problem is the screws are so small I did loose one of the bezel screws, but bezel snaps in and it will stay ok.Do not try to test the screen until it is completely screwed in. It needs the ground on the tabs to be attached to make it work. Yes I tried and it did not work until it was fully connected. I do not think I hurt it, but you never know.Over all I am very happy with this screen because the other choice was to replace the computer for over $800.00

My son closed his power cord in this laptop - no idea how. A local computer shop wanted $200 for the repair. This is a much cheaper and effective way to go. Super simple to switch out the screen.....in this particular laptop, can't speak for all of them.

This was very easy to install, price was good.Do wish it came with tools to replace but all in all experience was good.

This screen saved me some major bucks. My kid broke his school laptop screen and I was not looking forward to paying that bill, but we were able to replace the screen for $40 bucks and it took less than a half hour to finish it all. We Youtubed the instructions and it was a snap. Works beautifully.
