Despite being quite inexpensive, this meter is pretty well-built and it lets you do all the things you need to to understand whether your AC needs serious attention or just a little refrigerant. This little meter paid for itself the first time I used it, and I've gotten to use it about 4 times. It's super important (all you DIYers out there) that you have a very accurate idea of what the high and low side of the compressor are doing AND what the temperature is AND what the characteristics of the specific refrigerant are,.. you can't just wing it! This meter has all the refrigerant info built right in, so with minimal sleuthing you can keep your AC unit working smoothly. Highly recommend!

Already broken

This is an amazing tool and good value for the money. The sturdy case and all the accessories including the unit look very well made with common sense and care it should last a long time. I look forward to using it.

For the price and everything you get it's perfect for DIY or entry level. Not sure how accurate the probes are but they clamp strong. The integrated leak detecting was useful. Used it for a 27yr old Heatpump.

As described. Worked as expected. I had to figure out to attached the hoses to the bottom of the unit. Not out the top where the plastic caps were placed. Follow instructions on how to set and calibrate. Unit is precise enough to let me figure that my ac was not cooling enough because it was slightly over charged.
