Great quality! Perfect fit!
An absolutely perfect choice for us. Fits in a breakfast nook. We had a typical 40” ceiling fan, with lights above it, but whenever the lights were on the blades caused a “flickering” sensation. This fan moves air well, but does not have exposed blades, so no flickering. Good quality product, too, well made (and I build stuff) easily cleaned.A couple of dimensions are not provided. The fan blades are 12” across. The fan “opening” (grille) is 17”. The light (twin LED strips, one near the bottom of the lighting compartment, one near the top) is 3” wide, and 5” tall. The light is soft and extremely even (no “hot spots”). On low, the fan is very quiet. On high, hold on to your hats! :-).In summary, it’s spectacular!

Beautiful, quiet ceiling fan and light.
I’m not sure why I was asked how this item fits: it’s a ceiling fan, not a sweater. That said, it is absolutely gorgeous, and I completely love it. We installed it in a guest room with a low ceiling. I specifically wanted an enclosed fan so that no one would get smacked in the head by the blades. I love that it functions as a light, but be aware that it isn’t very bright; it’s more for ambience than reading, if you see what I mean. You can use the remote to operate the fan alone. I have found that I can easily sleep when it is on low or medium. The high setting is a little loud. My husband installed this fan himself, in place of a regular light fixture. The most difficult part was that he was standing on a bed. If you are reasonably handy, you should be able to install it.

Not bad, but...
Bought two of these. (1) in Bronze, (1) in brushed stainless. Have very low ceilings at points of installation, so I wanted a guarded fan. Was also able to shorten provided down rod by 1.125" and still successfully install on slightly sloped ceiling, allowing more head room. The remote's range is impressive. I can control the fans from the mailbox, outside and at least 60 feet away. That's as far as I took it, but I suspect that it's range may well exceed that, So one really needs to set the remote control pairing dip switches differently if installing more than one of these fans, and then hope that you don't have any close neighbors with the same remote on your setting, or you'll be operating each other's fans until one of you alters their dip settings! The dimmest light setting is nice and low. The highest light setting is pretty good. The light is adequate for general use of the room, but not really the best for reading or close work. I would recommend additional light sources for that purpose. The fan is pretty quiet on the lowest speed. It is acceptable at the medium speed, BUT it is pretty noisy on HIGH. Interestingly, our brushed nickel one is noticeably quieter than the bronze version. They were installed the same way, but the bronze one is just louder...(quality control??). They are in smaller bedrooms, and the best method of use seems to be to turn them on HIGH, to get the air moving, and then drop the speed to LOW or MEDIUM for continued (but quieter) operation. For a small room, the air movement is sufficient, and the units look great. The included wall bracket/holder for the remote is a bit flimsy, and I'm just hoping that someone, groping for the light switch in the dark room, doesn't accidentally dislodge the remote and send it fatally crashing to the tile floor. That should be better designed. Overall, I like the fans, but I took off a point for the noise, and the flimsy remote holder.

I am so pleased with this fan! A++
As a single female, I found this was very easy to install. I love the softer “glow” of the light, much easier on my eyes when I’m making my way to the kitchen (where it is installed) in early morning. Yes, on high, the fan is loud, but if you like white noise to sleep, well, it will have you asleep in no time. The fan does throw off the air circulation more downward, but the blades are small so, that is to be expected and for my needs, not an issue. As a singular light in a room, it might be to dim for some folks. However, I have a Traditional Hunter fan in my den, that doesn’t put off the light as this one does.Over all, a solid, fully assembled piece, attractive, safe (enclosed blades), easy to install, clear instructions, perfect!

Great looking and easy to install.
This ceiling fan, is a very attractive mid-century modern friendly style. We have gotten many compliments from friends and family on it's attractive styling. We love it, though it is not the same in how the air moves, it does exactly what we'd hope it would. And a perk was that it lights the room when I need a little extra light to clean the household. So far, we Love this ceiling fan!It took about an hour and a half to install (including the removal of the old ceiling fan). My husband says it was good to have the suspending system for installing and saved his arms while hooking up the wiring. At the end of this summer, I'll post an update after the warmer season is over.

Great fan for a small room, quiet operation...
Clean design, quiet operation at low speed, great for a small room. The light is very weak; about the strength of a nightlight. If you need to light up a room, you’ll be disappointed. For my closet office, it works well.

Great choice for slightly tall people with low ceilings. It is a lot louder than a large diameter open fan.
It's a little loud. It is a small fan turning at high speed. The light is barely adequate. Complaints aside, this is a very good alternative in a smaller room with 8' ceilings. It replaced a ceiling fan (ceiling hugger mount) with open blades. It was uncomfortable to have blades spinning 8" over your head. It looks pretty darn good too. Overall, I am satisfied. If the noise and light issues were improved it would be a much better product.Additional comment: After spending a night with the fan in my bedroom I am going to take two stars away and say that the fan noise really is too loud, even at its lowest speed. It is lot louder than a large open fan. In a room with background noise, it is just a little added annoying background noise, in a sleeping area it is just too loud. I would not recommend putting it in a study or a bedroom. It's may be ok for a living room or a family room.
