Didn't get stabbed by even one thorn
Loved them. I have a huge concentration of wild roses, those with a gazillion dense thorns circling every single branch. They're not pretty, but boy are they invasive. Wearing the gloves, I was able to get in and cut them down, to cut out all growth above the surface of the soil, dig into the soil and cut out the root systems--without being stabbed by thorns even once. Then I was able to pick up all of the cut pieces, put them in a bucket, and carry them to the disposal site. Despite being thick, these gloves are also very comfortable and flexible. Great product!

Best Garden Gloves!
If you are looking for a pair of garden gloves that are thick, high quality, and actually cover your arms to your elbows, these are the ones! I wanted something that could handle my rose buses, or just prickers in general and these do the trick. I find that my hands actually stay clean for hours even with digging in the dirt! I have actually bought two pairs because I loved them so much. I have not tried to wash them, so I cannot say how they would do being cleaned, but they work great, thick, high quality, and I highly recommend! I would purchase again, and I have offered to even buy for my husband!

Pencil cactus, prickley pear, mesquite thorns
Sturdy, gauntlets are great.......the hand has fabric lining that helps thicken against thorns....but with any glove, I have found they soften with use and the thorns penetrate. overall great glove.....fit a bit large.

The pair of power
Alright yall if you need something you can forget about, only to run over with a mower to find again. Then these are the gloves for you. I left the darker one out in the yard for almost a solid 3 months and then finally found it when I ran it over with my mower. No damage to it at all and it survived to tell the tale. The cleaner one is from regular use and have had plenty of good use out of them. I bought two pairs one for me and one for my girlfriend. Both pairs are alive and well. Out of everything I've used it on I've only had pomegranate thorns get through. If your working with something like apricot or anything with durable thorns then expect a few stragglers to find their way through. The only real issue I have is that the pinkie finger on both pairs don't sit right on my hands. I have a large and a medium I can comfortably wear both but the pinkie finger is always just like "help me" see above in picture attached. This is on both the right and left hands where the glove is kinked is where my finger ends. Idk if it's just excess or what but it never really affects my work just more physical unappealing.

for all the good they did--some of those thorns were half an inch ...
I bought these for heavy yard work, cleaning up a bunch of azalea bushes that had been neglected for half a decade and had brambles and thorn vines growing throughout them. Regular work gloves might as well have been made of wet Kleenex, for all the good they did--some of those thorns were half an inch long! These are great. I've only had one stick since I got them, and that was when a thorn slipped through one of the seams on a finger. Kind of a freak thing. I like that they extend a good way up the forearm, too.I'd take the "runs large" with a grain of salt, though. I've got small hands for a dude, probably a size 10 ring. My gloves are smalls, and they fit very comfortably. Mediums usually swallow me, so I think the sizing is dead on.

Wonderful for roses!
I've only used them once, but oh my . . . they are WELL worth the money! I had some cheap gloves before, and the stickers went right through the first time I used them. The price may seem high on these gloves, but if you are working with roses, as I am, you NEED the protection! I didn't get one thorn stick, and the gauntlets are great too for protecting your forearms. The medium fit my hands perfectly. I'd say I have average size woman hands with slightly longer fingers than average, but I can see these gloves fitting short or long fingers, as I had a little room on the ends, but it was in no way unwieldy or uncomfortable. They feel good, and I can tell they are of quality. I spent hours researching reviews on gloves, and decided that I needed these, as they had some of the best reviews, and when I get stuck with a thorn, it itches for DAYS. These took the worry of that happening away completely.

Excellent quality... a godsend for pulling blackberries and nettles
At first I thought a medium was too small, but they are cowhide and need to be broken in. After working them on to my hands and wearing them around the house for a few minutes at a time they stretched out and now fit perfect. Like heavy duty cowhide, you may need to fully work them all the way on to each finger. I've used them for pulling up blackberries and nettles. Buying them was one of the best decisions I've made... lately :-)

Unfortunately my kid got them dirty and I could not return them
way to big. I ordered the medium but it's a Man's medium and way too large for me. Unfortunately my kid got them dirty and I could not return them. But the quality is good.
