First Lite Aerowool Neck Gaiter

This gaiter looks nice, but its made of very thin material that I don’t think will hold up well through extensive use.Also, the gaiter doesn’t hold very well on your nose/chin/neck, so it ends up sliding down frequently and I’m always having to pull it back up. Its too loose and the materials used just aren’t what I was expecting. Almost like someone just cut off a section of thin cotton t-shirt sleeve.I would not recommend this product considering the price/quality ratio. There are better options available.

First Lite Aerowool Neck Gaiter fits nicely around my neck or my face when I want to cover my face. Lack of colors for the neck gaiter made tough decisions on what would satisfy me. Big con with this gaiter is how it is made. I disappointed only 65% of material is only merino wool, 33% nylon, and 2% spandex. Not a clothing you want near any campfire. I was only looking for nothing bu merino wool gaiter neck and I was disappointed when I received my item. The neck gaiter isn't windproof and not waterproof or water-resistant. I will give away this gaiter neck to a family member whom not an outdoor person and I will stick with Smartwool.

I found the material to be less comfortable than 100 percent merino., but it was more versatile than I imagined. I ended up mostly using it by pulling the back half up over my ears and back of my head. So it took the edge off the cold. Anything colder than the twenties in F, you might want something warmer.I also plan to use it desert hunting to not breathe in dust while on 4 wheelers.

I bought this for some late season dear hunting. I now find myself using it for everyday use. shoveling snow, any outdoor activities. I keep it with me all the time. I am going to purchase several others for family and to keep at work. Stays warm, but not to warm, dries very fast and stops you from getting the chills when the cold air hits a sweaty neck.
