So my skin has been lovingly nicknamed as lizard skin. It looks scaly and trust me you wouldnt want to touch it.My face feels rank unless it's exfoliated daily and because of that it's constantly dry, tight, itchy with big red raised patches across my cheeks....Until I found this!I got this in a beauty box and it's a gem. From first use my skin felt soft and smooth without an exfoliator in sight. I've been using it morning and night and my skin is calm and sooo soft.A week in and all redness has nearly gone - plus I have used retinol the past 3 nights with zero issues so it clearly is doing something amazing. The face wash to me smells like oilatum bath stuff for kids so not the most appealing but it's not strong or lingering and you can't smell it once you've rinced it off. It's really runny so you need the smallest amount to get the job done so I foresee this bottle lasting around 3 months. If this keeps up I will likely never be without it, the change in my skin is almost unbelievable

Good initial impressions; unsure about its abilities with 'bulletproof' mascara
A product obtained following a recent casual discussion with a family member, not specifically about a specific product but generally about the surprisingly frequent use in beauty and hair products of oats in various forms over the past year or two. Personally highly dubious about the many claims seen and heard for differing products that incorporate oats, it was suggested that she try it for validation. The "BYBI Beauty Milk Melt | Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Rebalances the Skin's Microbiome | Contains Oat Milk & Probiotics | 150ml" is not of a brand that is known, seen or heard mentioned in any context; it may be better known in vegan circles. It is not fragranced and that may help reduce the chance of an adverse reaction should there be specific sensitivities.Used for facial cleaning, it is claimed to be gentle and contains nothing obviously abrasive, not even ground apricot or almond shell that were once popular defoliants and mild abrasives used in many skin preparations. It is also claimed to be completely vegan in origin. It needs to be applied in moderation to damp skin and then does not foam extensively and was applied using the fingers alone. A cotton or foam pad may be a better option but yet to be tried as suitable pads were unavailable when initially testing. Using the fingers, evidence of removed makeup is difficult to spot unless extensively used in darker colours compared to it being very visible on a bright white fabric or foam pad although its effects on the skin were mildly apparent. The user rarely uses mascara and never a 'bulletproof' type so it is unknown whether or not it can remove it; there are other products, including micellar water, that will.

Soothed the redness on my skin
I’ve got normal to slightly oily skin which isn’t usually sensitive. However, recently I’ve had a bit of an issue with a slight bit of redness on my cheeks after using a few new products that didn’t suit me (very drying).Anyway, I have found this face wash to be gentle on my skin. I don’t really think the packaging matches your expectation of the product. Something so vibrant (to me) looks like it would be highly scented and perhaps a bit harsh. It is in fact, the exact opposite. It’s subtle and soothing with no discernible scent.Instructions tell you to use a “pea sized” amount on damp skin. I wasn’t convinced this would be adequate but it is. It spreads far and cleanses off light makeup and whatever normal daily grease and grime you’ve acquired.I wish it was a flip top cap instead of a screw cap, but it’s not a deal breaker. If you’re used to foaming cleansers a cream cleanser may take a little getting used to. It doesn’t foam at all, but that’s fine by me. You just massage it around for a minute or so, then it rinses off easily.I am pleased with the results. Clean skin which is not left dry and tight from cleansing. The redness on my skin is slightly reduced and I think will continue the same way the more I use this.£18 is more than I would usually pay for a cleanser, but I probably use about double the amount of my usual cleanser for the same effect so it’s probably not quite as costly as first imagined. As a nice bonus, the packaging is made from sugar cane, which I assume is a good eco friendly point.

Super gentle, suitable for sensitive skin. The tube *is* plastic though.
This is a very super gentle everyday face cleanser which will lift dirt and excess oil without stripping your face and leaving it dry and keeps the PH balanced. Though note that as it is so gentle, I've found it isn’t great for removing makeup but is an ideal morning cleanser. It unscented which is great for those of us with sensitive skin, although the scent isn’t pleasant is isn’t awful either and doesn’t linger.I have a few of BYBI’s products and I’ve found them all to be great quality. However the statement they give: “our carbon-neutral sugarcane tubes (they look like plastic but aren’t!)” is a bit misleading as they are actually made of plastic – it is plastic derived from a renewable source (sugarcane) which is more eco to manufacture, but it is still a non-biodegradable plastic, so not as eco as they claim. It is recyclable though, but outright claiming that it isn’t plastic makes me lose a little faith in the company unfortunately. The product itself is great though and well worth £17.

Does not dry the face. Gentle.
Smells a little weird but not too bad. Makes my face feel smooth and does not dry out my face. Favorite face wash for winter.

I love this product, target no longer Carrie’s it so I bought it from here it arrived with no seal and seemingly half empty? I’m more concerned that there is no seal.
