Not what I expected
When I saw this TV in the Shops I was blown away by the vibrancy of the colours and decided that I wanted to buy one , as this was a good price on Amazon I took the plunge and initially was disappointed, yes the picture was good but my previous Samsung 4K Hd I feel was better. Perhaps it needs a bit of calibration , but I don’t like messing with those adjustments in case I mess things up. The other thing I didn’t like was in order to download content like apps you have to sopen an account with LG and sign an agreement, this involves agreement to you data being transferred outside of the EU and willingness to accept targeted advertising. Onc you could buy a TV switch it on , tune it in and start watching, now you have sign away your rights before you can start watching.

Value for Money in the 'OLED Zone'
Exploring the market as I have you quickly learn there is practically no limit to the money you can spend on a TV, especially when acronyms like OLED start bouncing around. So discovering a TV in the 'big league' for less than a Grand is...well...comforting. There are the usual Smart facilities to be found here, but amid a forest of apps and a maze of settings I drew satisfaction from dropping two of my THREE remotes and a similar number of plugs in the upward transition from Toshiba to LG. NO Amazon Firestick - the apps are all there, embodied in the TV, and No soundbar - OK, the sound quality might not satisfy every aficionado of the little tight waves, but it is GOOD - good enough not to warrant that extra ugly addition for everyday use.So - an easy unpack, a quick setup (throw the switch and the lights go on), adaptability to most stands and a nice slim profile for walls, if the weight doesn't pull the bricks out. The usual Danse Macabre with each of the apps and their infernal passwords, but when you get 'em, brilliant clarity and colour. For the ordinary, everyday viewer like me, a giant leap. Get one!

A great TV at a great price
The media could not be loaded. This is a great TV that, for the price point, delivers a great picture quality and brightness, sound and functionality (much better than our previous Samsung). OLED is definitely superior to LCD which we had previously (backlight failed). The thin bezel really adds to the overall feeling of quality. The feet let it down a bit in terms oglf quality but I think their more minimalist look actually works better than the stand that comes with the next model up.Can't comment so much on the remote as we use the Sky one. Integration with Sky remote is ok (sometimes TV does not switch on the Sky box).Shame the screen saver can't be shown without the NoSignal message!Update: you can now remove the message from the screen saver 😊

Great product.
I have to say that grabbing a decent 4k oled for under £1000 (well £999.99) to me was a done deal. The picture is 100x better than 4k uhd slot smoother. I would definitely reccomend this product. Please note this review was written on day1 of recieving the TV.

Absolute rubbish!
Do not purchase this item particularly from Amazon. Build quality is rubbish. TV did not work straight out of the box. Returns are through Hermes who are the worst company ever. Pick up time 8:00am - 8:00 pm. Waited in all day. Hermes no show. Can't speak to anyone at Hermes. Amazon customer service rep woeful. Thinks its OK for someone to take the next day off work to see if they turn up. Complete joke! Do not order this product from Amazon!!!!

Excellent OLED quality screen
Beautiful OLED quality screen with deep blacks and white whites. Amazing after using a standard LED TV.PROsRich and full colour range with a very high dynamic range.CONsRemote control 'wand' feature moves the mouse too quickly so it is somewhat hard to use.Nag-screen on start - every so often it asks for recalibration.Dark scenes (TV is doing very dark scenes these days) are very dark. This is an excellent TV, OLED is the best display with a deep range from deeps black through to vivid whites.I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 stars due to an irritation. When starting the TV (every few days) it asks for a recalibration which takes five minutes. This happens whether you 'recalibrate' the pixels or not. Very annoying as you want to watch stuff when you turn the TV on, not get bugged by messages and delays. There is no way to turn it off in the settings either. This happened within a day of unboxing it. The TV looks fine without this pixel recalibration. No doubt it serves a good purpose but it should be something you can shedule, say once a week or once a month, not every few days. this is going to become a real annoyance in the future I think. The remote control works as normal but it has a 'wand' feature whereby if you shake the remote a mouse cursor appears on the screen allowing you to access Settings and smart TV Apps. We find this wand diffucult to use with the mouse cursor flying all over the place at times.(If you have a TV Box attached and you wish to use that remote by programming the TV remote's main buttons onto it, you may find the Box remote's programmable buttons do not accept the TV sounds up/down buttons. They seem to be using a code beyond the programmable range.)TV scenes which are filmed to be dark and look grey on a LED TV will look very black on an OLED TV. Makes you think you need to adjust the TV's settings. It is really the TV shows themselves as dark scenes appear to be a fad at the moment. This is a really great TV. Even with the niggles I stated above I would recommend it if you are looking for a 4K TV with deep rich colours that make the actors look like they are in the same room as you.
