Bende Original Hungarian Brand Smoked Sausage Mild 2 Pack

Its as delicious as I remember!

I was born and raised in Hungary and ate sausage with szalonna (similar than the bacon) with tomatoes and green peppers in my whole life there. I’m just highlighting if I say a sausage is good then you can believe me it’s good. This sausage is GOOD. As soon as I received my delivery I tore apart the package and grabbed a knife. Even from the smell I could tell it was really good. It’s not so hard but no too soft either, perfect for my rakott krumpli, lebbencs soup or for my traditional christmas sour cabbage soup. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased Bende Brand before but not their Smoked Sausage. Bende is a dependable Brand--you can always count on a quality product. The sausage was absolutely delicious. I will definitely buy again.

The seasonings and texture are great, but the smoke flavor is overpowering. Please, be aware it is far smokier than any barbecue I have had.

Grew up in Hungary. This sausage tastes just like sausage that you can buy in Hungary. Very authentic. I saw people complained in the reviews about delivery, saying that it is not delivered over ice/frozen. It is a dry-smoked meat product, it does not need to be refrigerated. Hungarians also don’t keep this type of sausage in the fridge.

Hungarian sausages are considered to be one of the best sausages in the world in general. This particular one does not disappoint him and satisfies all the expectations one they have from a good sausage. It’s moderately spicy very flavorful and smells delightful. All in all definitely recommend trying it.

These 'kolbasz' sausages are the real deal. I was born in Hungary and loved these as as a child. I have tried similar sausages from all over the world but only these taste authentic. I had the mild variety, I don't remember having any extra spicy. We have had these cut into slices and put in cabbage soup instead of meat balls and it was good but it is delicious as it is. My sister and I used to eat it with honey when we were kids.

Very good quality and authentic flavor will buy it again, the only catch is that the price is a bit steep.
