For The Price...
At $12.99 (Amazon price at the time of this review) this is a really nice product. Is it as nice as a set of Burris scope rings? Or other, more well-known make? Nope, but the price is what makes this a 5-star item.I'm not a huge fan of the "knob-style" ring-to-mount style, but it works. Not sure whether to see the comment, "we strongly recommend lapping the rings for a proper and secure fit for your optic" as a sign that these rings aren't all that well-made or that they are (well-made).I'm going to have to play around with these a bit more to decide if these are worth using for some of my better scopes on some of my better bolt-actions. They probably are, but at this point these rings will go on one of my "beater" rifles. In any event, I do really like these rings. Nicely-made and very nicely-priced. Very much worthy of the rating I've given them.5 stars.

Low profile rings that work
These are pretty simple low profile rings. They have some large thumb screws. It'd be nice if they were quick detach, but at this price point, not expected. I wish the screws were a little smaller. There are also 3 screws that hold the top part of the rings down on each side. It seems a bit thick and excessive. I have to say it is working well, but not the lightest or most compact solution.

Out of specs, badly
Rings are out of specs badly. First, they are not 0.97" centerline - more like 1.1".But they could still be usable if it indexed right on the rail - but it does not. The dovetail profile machined in the ring base is likely taken from picatinny rail specs - which is totally wrong. For any undersized rails (and most of them including FN are undersized), instead of indexing on the base and bottom lip and staying flat on the rail, the ring is raising one side when tightening - which will at least mess your accuracy and can even damage the scope. And the last thing - instead of returning mine, I put it in a mill and and re-cut critical surfaces to make it work and lined up properly. Now I am pretty sure the material is not 7075 - it cuts like cheaper and less strong 6061 (those with experience machining both alloys know it's quite easy to notice the difference).

does what it is supposed to do. I love it
I like my scopes mounted low. This does that. What else is there to say. Its economical and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
