Q: Is the visibility really only 6 meters?

It's quite a bright light, but it's not focused, like a typical flashlight. Better for being seen in the dark than for helping you see. I'd say 6 meters is pretty accurate for how far it illuminates, but it's visible from much further away.

Q: What deep can resist?

Package says 1 meter for 30 minutes

Q: Would this work well to clip to my dog so I can see him (and cars can see him) in the dark?

It should clip to a dog collar just fine. The caribeaner is a mini measure 1 1/2 inches from outside bottom to top, and the gate opening is about 5/8 inches. It clips to the molle strap on my pack with no trouble at all. The light is well worth the money, its durable and bright.

Q: Does it turn on automatically when submersed?

Not that i know of. You need to twist the head on in order to turn it on.
