Very tough with strong adhesive to keep from unraveling
This stuff is tough and works well for automotive wiring projects. Wrap your wiring in this and have peace of mind that it's protected from light abrasion. Sometimes it's a gamble buying this kind of stuff on Amazon, but this tape is very high quality.

Closest tape I could find to OE tape. I wouldn’t say it’s the stickiest tape, but it sticks well enough to be able to protect and hold together a wire harness. Very easy to use and wrap a wire harness with, just keep it tight when wrapping and it will work perfect. I will be keeping this tape is stock at home. A thought about the adhesive strength… I feel if it were stickier it would probably leave a residue if you ever had to unwrap a harness. I haven’t had to do that yet, but it definitely has enough adhesion for what I have been using it for. Wire harness in the engine bay and under the dash.

Easy to work with
Well made. Was easy to work with. Not sure how well it will last exposed to the elements but, based on the material it is made from it should last a good while.

Great Quality with a Nice Sheen
Not waterproof. Although it says "all weather" in the description, It says "Not for use in wet areas" on the package The tape has a nice black sheen to it. It could be used for a Halloween costume. Great quality.

High quality product from by Maxwell, this fiber harness tape has excellent adhesion to hold tight to harnesses that you build or repair and maintains flexibility. This has been use in personal vehicle to wrap all auxiliary wiring to give a factory look and add an additional layer of protection from vibrations and movement using its exceptional abrasion resistance and ability to resist engine bay heat without breaking down or becoming brittle like standard electrical tape can over time. I have also notice that it resists chemicals and fluids common to automotive work. Highly recommend.
