I recently installed the Govee H7015 48ft RGBIC string lights in my backyard, and I'm blown away by the quality and versatility. These aren't your average string lights—they're a complete game-changer for outdoor ambiance year-round AND during the holidays. What I love: The RGBIC technology is incredible. Unlike basic RGB lights, these can display multiple colors simultaneously along the strand, creating stunning gradient effects that flow seamlessly. The 15 dimmable LEDs provide the perfect amount of light without being overwhelming, and the dimming feature lets me set the exact mood I want. Holiday magic: These lights are an absolute dream for holiday decorating! For Halloween, I set them to orange and purple with a spooky flicker effect. Thanksgiving was warm amber tones. And for Christmas? The red and green transitions are absolutely stunning—way better than buying separate holiday lights. I'm already planning my Fourth of July red, white, and blue setup. One set of lights for EVERY holiday! Smart features that actually work: Setup with the Govee app was seamless—took maybe 5 minutes. I can control everything from my phone, set schedules so they turn on automatically at sunset, and even sync them to music for parties. The pre-set scenes are gorgeous (love the "Sunset Glow" mode), but I also enjoy creating custom color combinations for each season. Built to last: After several weeks of rain, wind, and intense sun, these lights still look and perform like day one. The weatherproofing is legit, and the construction feels premium and durable. Worth every penny. Whether you're hosting a dinner party, celebrating holidays, or just relaxing on the patio, these lights elevate the entire experience. Update: Govee reached out to me to offer a refund or replacement. I did not expect that because it was beyond my return window. I respect the fact that they offered this when they didn’t have to. The new lights work perfectly. I can appreciate a brand that stands behind their product and cares about customer satisfaction . I didn’t use them until a few months after buying them, they sat in the box unopened, but when I went to plug them in & use them only half the strand works. Each strand will work independently, but they will not work when connected together. There must be a bad connector. For such expensive lights they should have much better quality than that. Too late to return unfortunately.

Very featured and the price was very good. I wanted wifi / Alexa ones, but those were more than 100 bucks. These were around 30 and so I just use a smart plus. They will change and pulse to the music and you can program each bulb individually. Very cool. Can be daisy chained as well. Great budget option for outdoors and let's you stick with Govee. I only buy Govee lighting now. They have proven the best, brightest, most functional, longest lasting - I'm taking them home to meet my mother soon, that's how much I like this company. Why don't I marry them you ask? Well, because I don't want to spoil such a good thing. Mind your own business.

these are nice but they DO NOT have the some coloring of the spot and pathway. so if you want them close together and synced to the same scene, think twice.

These lights are amazing. They change colors with an app. You can program them for the different seasons/holidays.

I tested this light in the app’s warmest white setting and was genuinely impressed by how cozy it feels. To verify the actual color temperature, I used an AH-300 light meter, and it measured approximately 2200K at the warmest white setting. At 2200K, the light is very soft and warm — similar to candlelight or traditional tungsten bulbs — which creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. It’s perfect for evenings, outdoor gatherings, or simply winding down after a long day.

I strung these up across my yard and they only lasted 1 month and the wires ripped out of the bulbs in two different spots. Cheap junk, use to like these but 1 month, really? Edit. Goove reached out immediately after this review and promptly offered a refund or replacement. Since I like the lights and would prefer them working I decided to try again, maybe I had a bad string/batch. Anyway the replacement arrived in two days. Excellent customer service imo.

Arrived a day early and nice to have some lights on during the dark nights after the Holiday season. This is my second Govee item and they are good quality. Installed on deck and so far working well with previously installed Govee App. Lots of options for scenes and colours and changing the speed of moving lights. The bulbs are very light weight and so far have stayed dry after one night of heavy rain. The timer and is helpful. Tip: Figured out the timer requires setting two lines: one line for "On" and a second line for "Off".

Govee has the best products, I love these lights and especially enjoy the various themes which we use all through the year. The price was so good!

Perfect lights for under the gazebo. The range of colour's are pretty awesome. Pre-set settings have some cool configurations. The DIY function allows you to make your own custom configurations. Phone app is easy to use and setting them up was super easy. All in all 10 out for 10.

This is beautiful only wish the wire was white as black really stands out in the snow. Also it will not connect to Alexa for me.

These worked out fabulously to make my gumdrop Christmas lights. They are inside of ice cream buckets.
