Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this product because of its 600 watts power. I gave it a workout today after just receiving it a couple of days ago. It performed admirably for mixing muffins, cookie dough, and fudge. It has plenty of power, was easy to use. I never had to resort to the extra power button because it was never necessary, but I did test it out just to make sure it worked. It is a little heavier than my old mixer but I am sure the old one didn't have this power either. I like that you can put it down and it sets flat against the counter and doesn't tend to "tilt". The power cord is long and handy when you don't have really close outlets on your counter tops. I like that the cord wraps around its own space and out of the way. The only way I could see to make it better would be to include a "whipping utensil" which I was used to having. However, I think it would "whip" anything, with all its power anyway. I gave it a "5" because I was impressed with its real time performance.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:For a hand mixer this little guy has great power. Beaters are easy to insert and eject and I haven't found anything I bake that it can't handle yet - and I bake a lot!

My mixer works get but when I took it out of the bag the box was not perfect. Then I took the mixer out of the box it had a dent in it.

I have to say, this hand mixer is much nicer than I expected! I got this on a flash sale for a ridiculously low price, and to be honest I thought well, you get what you pay for. This time I was pleasantly surprised! I usually buy the cheapest one I can find because I have a very nice stand mixer, so who needs to spend the extra money, right? This mixer attracted me right off the bat because it had a little more umph (wattage) to it, so ok, it will last a little longer. Not a bad thing. Right out of the box you notice this mixer is on the heavier side. Heavier usually means a more quality product, so I'm ok with that. It's also larger and quieter than my previous mixers, so fantastic! Now I'm not going to lie, it took me a sec to figure out the speed control because I'm an idiot and didn't read the included booklet, lol.... but its not hard to figure out. There's a little switch at the top that moves from left to right that shifts the speed. That's the part I really like the best because you can go from a slow mix up to a fast mix in 2 stages. You know how on cheap mixers they just start out really fast so you're basically flinging stuff out of the bowl? Not with this mixer, and even at it's fastest setting it doesn't fling food, but it's still plenty fast and strong enough to whip cream to stiff and handle thicker batters. There is a turbo speed on it, but I did go back and read about that feature. It says not to use it for more than a minute because it can burn the motor out. Honestly, I don't see why you would need to use turbo anyway? Cream and egg whites whip just fine on the fastest regular speed.I'm giving it a big old thumbs up for now. Full disclosure though, I've only used it a couple of times, so I cannot attest to how long it will last... and even though it comes with bread hooks, I personally would not ever use a hand mixer to make bread dough because it causes to much drag on the motor and will burn it up in no time quick. Oh, one more cool thing, it has a very flat bottom on it. So no worries about setting it on the counter while scraping down your bowl or adding in those extra ingredients. It just makes it one less thing to fuss over. It also has a nice long cord that you can wrap around between the stand and the mixer body... making clean up and put away a tidier experience. In the last picture I tried to show that the mixer is a little larger than your usual cheaper ones, but hey, I have working girl hands, lol. Landscaping doesn't make for dainty 😂 and my regular beaters are dirty because my pipes are frozen due to the weather... so those dreaded bread hooks I said never to use, lol. But hopefully you get the picture and it helps some.

Love it. I like the fact that everything is contained in a little tray. And then I able to set it up right on the counter when I’m done using it. Very sturdy just what I was looking for.

I replaced a hand mixer I received for a wedding gift in 1999. It was still going strong but decided to give it to my son and get a new one. The reviews of how powerful it is won me over. It is that. The beaters aren't as easy to clean as my old one because of the grooves. Speaking of beaters, I really miss my whisk beaters, and was hesitant on this purchase solely based on that. I do not like how you have to get the beaters lined up perfectly to get them in. I do not like the short cords on things. The cord is about 50". That seems like a lot but it's really not. Also wish it was more weighted on the bottom. Despite the wide base when setting it down while using, it teeters a bit when there is batter on the beaters. Bottom line, it's powerful and it seems well made, though missing some design features I would prefer. For most people, this is a good mixer. For those who cook and bake a lot and are looking for an upgrade, make sure it has the features you love about your current mixer.
